Bear in mind, hotel is located at least 15 min away from Train Station. When you arrived at train station and the way to hotel, it is a street with down slope. It is easy, even we have 2 luggage. However, when we walked from hotel back to Train Station. It should pay more effort for up the slope to...

Picked this hotel mainly for the location and was not disappointed. It was close to Ferry and the main little shopping streets. My daughter and I shared a big bed on the third floor with balcony and wonderful lake view. The Hotel is certainly a bit drab but clean. Our room was serviced every day and the bathroom was big,...

This hotel is family run and sits on the lakeside. It's only 18 rooms across 4 floors, so never seems busy. We had the top floor room 418 which had a brilliant view across the lake, with it's own balcony, as do all the rooms overlooking the lake. The road it sits on is never busy, a light sleeper like...

Loved this charming little hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was served in a small alcove that looked out onto the lake. Not a huge selection but more than adequate. The best thing about this hotel is the location - just steps from the ferry terminal from which you can hop a boat to anywhere around the lake....

Sara was super helpful with any request. Nothing was too much for her. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Located directly opposite the lake in the middle of shopping strip. Restaurants, bars etc are all minutes walking distance away. All of this available at very reasonable prices. Every day housekeeping moved my personal belongings which I was very unhappy...

Stayed 2 nights with husband as last stop during our Toscana/Northern Italy holiday. Stresa is a beautiful small historical town on the coast of Lago Maggiore and the hotel is locted right on the lakefront very close to the ferryterminal for the island cruises. The view from our small 4th floor balcony was stunning. The room was nice with a...

We stayed here for one night. Perfect location close to everything, right across the street from the lake - and our room had a balcony with an amazing view over it. Still very quite. The room looked nice with it's own style and was comfortable with quite an ok bed. The bathroom was clean and fresh. The staff was helpful...

Very good location at the end side of Stresa, right next to the ferry. Nice to walk along day and night, awesome views. Nice park, playground and beautiful hotels nearby, very attractive area. Right behind the streets are full of cafes and restaurants, car free pedestrian streets. The hotel is a bit oldish, with textile wallpaper and ceiling, but I...

€75 per night on Stresa waterfront with lake view, on a holiday weekend? It sounded too good to be true, and it was. Functioning hot water, functional shower and a habitable bed are the things every hotel must offer. This one failed on these and therefore cannot be recommended. Too bad, because the staff are very friendly, the location great...

We returned Europe to this year and stayed at the Albergo Sempione twice on our way to and from Switzerland. Both times we had a much larger room than on our previous stay, with lake views, and we were treated well by the staff. We requested softer pillows and were given some very comfortable ones. The breakfast was good and...
