Agora Residenza is ideally located behind the basilica, in the centre of the old town, close to the main piazzas, eateries and historic attractions. Our apartment was on the ground floor, isolated from any external noise by the off-street entrance corridor. The small private patio area was ideal for relaxing with an aperitif.The living and bedroom areas are spacious, the bathroom modern, and the kitchenette had all we needed. Christina is a warm and informative hostess, helpful with advice on all aspects of our stay. Ask her about the best local, non-tourist eateries.

We stayed in Agora for 1 night with a family of 5. We had 2 very large rooms. Well decorated and furnished. Cristina and her daugther ensured a warm welcome, The B&B is located in the heart of Mantua with walking access to the pleasant centre of this less known Italian city. Worth a short stay ! We will go back.

The location of this property couldn't be better. It is right in the heart of the historic center, but extremely quiet. Our apartment was just as pictured on their site, very large, nicely furnished and very, very clean. As others have written, Christina, the owner, is just wonderful. From the time of our reservation until the time we left, she made herself very available and provided a lot of helpful information. Our train arrived later in the evening and she gave us a code to enter the building, which worked out great for us. Included are coupons for breakfast at a nearby bar that was also very warm and welcoming, with great local specialities. A great way to start the day.

Agora Residences lived up to all the positive reviews I had read. The host, Cristina, is the best asset of this accommodation. She was very welcoming and friendly and made you feel comfortable immediately. She prepared all kinds of local information and was so helpful with advice about attractions and good local restaurants. Our ground floor apartment was very spacious, comfortable and very quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable and the apartment is very well maintained each day. Its position in Mantua is excellent and was a fantastic base for exploring this charming town which has a surprising range of things to see and do. Breakfast each day (included in the price) was at a local cafe in the main square and a typical Italian breakfast. There is also a modest but adequate kitchenette in the apartment if you chose to use it. This accommodation made our stay in Mantua really relaxed and pleasant.…
