This is a simple, relaxed and easy hotel to stay in. The organisation is quite basic, with a friendly informal atmosphere. The room was a good size with a pleasant bathroom. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a straightforward, serve yourself, basic buffet, which had most of the things I needed. It could have been improved with some fruit. Guests are able to make their own tea, coffee and help themselves. There were only a few guests so it was very easy. During your stay, you are also able to make tea or coffee in the breakfast area whenever you want to, without charge. The best things about this hotel are firstly, the location. You can walk everywhere easily in a few minutes. Secondly, the staff are very friendly, informative and helpful. One particular young lady in reception was delightful and so polite and helpful. If you are the sort of traveller who expects all the facilities and provisions of a big chain hotel then this is not for you. If, however, you want a good place to stay that just lets you get on with your visit with no fuss, then this is great!

booked this hotel only the evening before we arrived because of its position in the historic part of town. We were greeted nicely and received a free upgrade to a junior suite. Nice!. Room very clean; really good mattress! Everything in the mini bar was free. Nice touch. Small, narrow bathroom but 2 sinks so also ok. I would have given this hotel a better rating, but I also booked it because breakfast was included or so it said. I was very torn between this hotel and an apartment for the 4 of us but then decided on the hotel because breakfast was included. Well, breakfast was a JOKE! There was nothing there and the excuse was that because of Covid they weren’t allowed to have a buffet. I accept that but some jam, butter etc. There were some croissants (no filling) and some bread and little pouches of honey. That was it! The receptionist said she was already multi tasking and couldn’t run up and down the stairs to tend to a bigger breakfast. Well, hire breakfast staff! Not my problem!! We paid Euro 100 per room WITH breakfast. Made me angry that we then had to go out and get breakfast at a bar
