There are so many wonderful things about this hotel. First of all, the staff was absolutely lovely in reception, the restaurant/bar, and the pool bar. The cleaners made sure our room was clean even though I didn’t actually see them. The staff we did interact with were friendly, helpful, and they took good care of us. We especially had fun at the pool which is very modern looking and was perfect for a cool down after going into the center of Milan. (I think they just opened it right before we arrived.) They very welcoming to both families with children and adults at the pool. The restaurant/bar was also very nice when a group of us from the conference we were attending met up there. We had a lot of fun! The location of the hotel is perfect too. There are multiple groceries and restaurants within walking distance, and the metro is literally in front of the hotel which makes for easy travel anywhere throughout the city. Even the central train station was an easy walk and offered shopping (one of the grocery stores was there, Guess, other clothing stores, Victoria’s Secret, phone store, various others) and lots of restaurant and bar choices. There’s an entire section of just bars, restaurants, and bakeries. We were able to walk to the central station (or you could grab a cab if you had heavy luggage) to pick up our rental car and to hop on a train. We did both. There’s also a metro stop at the the central station, cabs, and buses to the airport too. So convenient! The hotel room itself was very comfortable with a fridge and mini bar, and the bathroom was spacious. Our view from the window was lovely, but we did have to keep the curtains closed to keep the room cool enough on warm days. This hotel would definitely not be my pick for a romantic getaway or if I were going to spend lots of time in the hotel room, but for a conference it was extremely convenient, comfortable, and close to everything we needed. I’d like to repeat that the staff was really exceptional! It was easy and relaxing to stay here, and we really enjoyed the pool.

We've always been staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Milan CIty for more than 12 years.
While being a business top-level hotel, the Crowne Plaza Hotel Milan City is run with warmth and genuine cordiality.
The service is absolutely efficient, very helpful in all possible matters and uncomplicated.
The location is ideal. The hotel is literally above a metro station leading swiftly downtown. It is wonderfully quick and easy to reach by car coming from any direction, without any traffic jams.
The area is extremely safe, has many very good restaurants, shops and so on. It is a modern architecture area of world class, with eye-pleasing avenues and great style.
The hotel itself was built in the highest standard and has a tasteful artsy decoration all over.
Great restaurant with genuine Milanese cuisine, fresh and tasty ingredients of top quality and obviously a nice breakfast.
Needless to say, the whole building is perfectly hygienic and always irreproachable in its cleanliness.
The staff is always at one's disposition and absolutely professional in its dealing with the hosts and all their needs.
There is an ample protected parking behind the building, behind the building, there is a pleasant and quiet area for eating and having a cocktail at night.
Milan's gorgeous train station is in walking distance.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel Milan City has all one needs for a short or long touristic stay, as well as for business hosts!

This is a very nice hotel with convenience to the central station and Malpensa Express. It is 4 metro stop away from the Duomo or 10-minute Uber/Taxi. We stayed 3 nights. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room is small, but very well appointed with all the amenities-robes, slippers, special soaps and pillow spray, complimentary water etc. They gave us drink passes as IGH members and we enjoyed them in the comfy lounge. Lots of restaurants nearby, also Eataly is very close. Would recommend!

The hotel is nicely located at a metrostation. So it's easy to travel to all the highlights of Milan. There are not so many restaurants located near the hotel, so you have to go there with metro as well. The Bedroom Suite is big and has a seperate bed for your child which is nice. Rooms are modern and convenient. The cleaning was a bit poor, not enough toiletpaper available (everyday), cleaning partly done when arriving in the room...

We spent 5 nights here as part of a city break in Milan. The hotel was very close to the Centrale Station, right above the Metro line and on the tram routes. The staff were very helpful, polite and very accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I particularly liked the bathroom and bathrobes/slippers. Little touches like a chocolate each day and water in the room made a difference too. Breakfast was very good - plenty of choice and replenished regularly. The hotel guests are a mixture of business people and travellers. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again without hesitation.

The best thing about this hotel is the rooms and bathrooms are modern with good a/c and good blackout curtains. Bathrooms are good with big pump bottle toiletries not those tiny bottles. But tissue paper is only a small box. I suggest they put a big dispenser for tissue paper. The mattress was a bit sagging so make sure to tell them if it is. Location: The location is a manageable walk without luggage from the station. With luggage you need a taxi. It's a grim dark neighborhood though. Didn't seem unsafe just ugly. But Milan isn't a pretty away from the Duomo area. It's a fairly long taxi ride to the Duomo. You can get a SIM card next door. The grocery across the street is too small to be useful. There is a small cafe across the street but it's not very attractive. Hotels in Milan can be pricey so I guess you have to put up with non prime location for the price. Service: They seem a bit bewildered when I extended my room - couldn't find it on their system and said the hotel was fully booked even though I had got a confirmed reservation for another night on the IHG app with confirmation number and email. Need to sync faster with the main IHG system. One irritating thing. I gave all the passports upon check in. Several days into my stay the man said he didn't have it and asked me for my passport late at night when I had got back from a long day. No apology for their mistake in losing the photocopies. They need to be more on the ball about this.

We spent our last night in Milan at the Crowne Plaza and we had a really great stay. The staff was all very friendly, special thank you to Laura for allowing us to check in early. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are quite spacious and well insulated (we were in front of the lift and we did not hear much noise). Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is only a 5 – 6 min walk from Milano Centrale, the main train station. A direct train runs regularly between the airport and Milano Centrale. The hotel also has the local subway stop next to the reception area. This makes it extremely convenient to navigate the city.
Daily parking fee is Euro 25 so its better not to have a car in Milan if you don’t need it.
There is a self-service supermarket called Esselunga SpA a couple of buildings away.
Crowne plaza reception staff helped us book a RT-PCR appointment at Centro Medico Ambrosiano; it cost Euro 76 and we got the result within 24 hours.
We booked a suite which was average and could do with an upgrade. Room AC worked well. They don’t have a club lounge.
Overall, the best thing about the hotel is its location.
Since there are a lot of hotels in the area, we may choose a different one next time.

we look forward to welcoming you at Crowne Plaza Milan City. The cheapest options to reach quite easily the Hotel from Malpensa airport are either by train or shuttle bus.
Malpensa Express train has departures scheduled every 30 minutes right from the terminal and reaches Milan in about 60 minutes. the cost is € 13.00 per person. Same is for the shuttle bus, however it may take longer in case of traffic on the highway. both are arriving at Central Railway station, located only 800 m from the Hotel (10 minutes walk or just 1 stop subway on the yellow line - stop Sondrio on the train heading to Comasina). tickets can be purchased at the airport directly. hope this helps and do not hesitate to contact us for more information. kind regards Fabio
