Thanks again Giusella for your kindness and for the wonderful night rest in your B&B. The room is spaciuos and confortable, the bathroom is very clean. We slept very well and enjoyed the little relaxed breakfast. We adore your homemade marmelade ( pear and chocalate so the orange). There is plenty of food provided with tea, coffee and capuccino. Although not directly in the centre, it is in the north area of Milan, there is no hassle to get it.There is a perfect connection by buses and tramcar.Giusella, the owner, made me feel completely at home. We will return next time and We suggest to everybody wants to spend a relaxing week end in Mila. More

My wife, grown daughter and I returned about 10 days ago from a Christmas/New Year's trip to London, Rome, and Milan. Milan was the hardest of the three to find a room at what we consider to be a reasonable price and, after having to look long and hard at London accommodation listings, that's saying something! Trip Advisor came in very handy because it was here that I discovered the website for La Casa del Nespolo di Niguarda, a wonderful find. However, all of the reviews I read seemed to be in Italian which none of us speak even though I am of half Italian heritage myself! Nevertheless, there seemed to be lots of exclamation points and "buonos," amongst the reviews, so I decided to investigate. Luckily the website has an English translation or we might have missed out. We had never been to Milan and did not really have any idea how far away Niguarda was from the city center, but that proved to be absolutely no problem as the tram ride was about 15 or so minutes... Staying in Bicocca

Neighbourhood Profile
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.

“This is not a modern American style hotel. No bellhops to carry your luggage, room service, etc. But if you travel on a budget and want a nice, clean place in a real Italian city setting, it's wonderful.”
