This place is a dump! The location is the only thing it has going for it!! 2out of 3 of the staff are rude and not at all helpful, the place is dirty, dark, bedding is old and ready for the tip, the room was tiny! Bathroom was small and not clean, the toilet seat was broken, the shower was...

I have stayed here for some years - simple and nothing fancy. Clean and basic - but a position in Milan that is difficult to beat - behind the Duomo. Local family run restaurant downstairs and a block from the shopping heartbeat of Milano.

This is a very basic hotel with few amenities but the rooms are clean and bed was fine. One downside is the lack of air conditioning which would be a problem in the summer. Our room overlooked the plaza which is very busy at night and had to close the window to sleep. I would recommend for a few night...

If you travel on a budget, don't go there because you'll pay 90€/night. If you can afford that budget don't do my mistake and search something else. The staff is kind but that's all you'll get from this hotel: outdated and dark rooms, old bathrooms, spiderwebs and dust... Nop, I cannot recommend this "new" hotel :-(

Location Love the location. It is just next to the Galleria and 2-minute walking distance to the Duomo. Room Tiny room but clean. Our room faced the road, hence we had to make a conscious effort to draw the curtain all the time. The door is self-locked from the inside. We were so worried the door could be opened from...

We spent 3 nights at hotel Nuovo (this) August 2015. It is located far from the city center but for 1.20 EUR you can take train from hotel doorsteps ( 20 m to go) which takes you to city in 15 min. There are tickets for the train available at the hotell. Hotel is not big ( little small parking...

I think it's very difficult to find a hotel like this. It's located very close to duomo, the Milan's cathedral and all the comfort you need are very close. For the price you pay you cannot ask more! All the people working there will help you for all your needs!

First off the place is just ummmm well ok. I didn't expect much and I'm usually not picky but it was super hot and muggy in there. They will not turn on the air conditioning and they refused to give me a fan or let me borrow one. I was there for only one day thank you Jesus!!!! because I...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
