The house dog defecated over our clothes whilst we slept, the bathroom floor was filthy, littered with dirty plasters, and the staff were incredibly rude, bursting into our private room without knocking, telling us to go to sleep, that it was late. We were, as you would expect, astonished. We ended up moving out, and getting a far better hostel,...

Don't go there!!!!!! This place is really dirty and stinky. The "bathroom" was full of dirty tampons, toilet paper and other disgusting things. The drain of the shower and the toilet was blocked but nobody seemed to care! We saw a couple of bugs in the room!!!!! You cannot lock your things and not even your room!!! And I wouldn't...

Hello Last june me and my husband went ti Milan for the weekend. When we found this hostel and we saw the pictures they published, we thought it was ok: But nothing was true. The guy at the reception was really rude, also there is a "common" room inside the hostel, but in it people smoke and the hour to...

Sweet Hostel is the single dirtiest hostel I have ever stayed in, and I enjoy travelling. There was mould on the wall by my friend's pillowcase, the blankets had clearly never been washed and the mattresses and bunk beds bowed in the middle because they were far too old to be at all supportive. The bathrooms were hopeless; the main...

This place was a nightmare. The directions were incomprehensible and we had the most difficult time even figuring out how to get there from the main train station. It's a good walk from the metro stop. The staff is extremely rude and can barely converse in English. The room for four was cramped. The bed isn't even really a bed...you're...

the hostel itself is beautiful, really old fashioned with a huge sweeping staircase, but you only realise that after you battle to get in. the website suggests it's 'across the road' from the metro station, but it's actually about a ten minute walk. once you finally find the place, it's almost impossible to work out how to get in and...

    Staying in Bicocca

    Neighbourhood Profile
    Bicocca
Although Bicocca is a peripheral district, many visitors will find it appealing. The district is enveloped by the immense Parco Nord (North Park), one of the largest parks in Europe. Inside is the theater Arcimboldi, one of the most important contemporary theaters where concerts and shows are organized. In the same area, there is the University of Milan Bicocca, whose distinct architecture rivals a movie set. Coffee shops, a multiplex and a shopping center are in the campus, along with the Fondazione Hangar Bicocca, one of the most famous museums of Contemporary Art.
