The hotel is so understated from the outside, contrasting with the impressive and ingenious decor within, which can't fail to impress Staff enhance these impressions with their efficiency, positivity and courtesy. Maybe the most impressive element is the green policy of the hotel with its zero carbon emissions, which has to be applauded. Our room was fine with a very...

The Location is next to Brera and La Scala. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The single room I was given was the size of a closet. It was very, very dark with slow (but free) internet, ancient flat screen TV. The shower separated by a floor length curtain from the rest of the very tiny bathroom. Wet floor!...

Dear Mr. Micheal, the Hotel Milano Scala has an availability of only 6 single rooms, all overlooking the inner courtyard. When you made the reservation for a single room on our website, you could verify from the related pictures that this type of room (18 sqm) is provided with a French bed (140x200 cm), a Samsung 24’’ flat screen television...

You are minutes from the Gallerie, the Duomo, the LaBrea art and restaurant area, and of course, LaScala-the Opera House. Arty deco, attentive service, and a roof top lounge make this was great choice for a two night stay in Milan. We happened to be in Milan at the same time as the opening ceremonies of Expo 2015---you could hear...

Located in the very center of the historic city, this hotel is a find! It's within easy walking distance of wonderful shopping, restaurants, museums and the Duomo. It's also close to the subway. Rooms are small but well appointed. The included breakfast is excellent (but avoid the restaurant for dinner). The staff are friendly and helpful.

We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel. Just round the corner from La Scala, two minutes walk from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and the Duomo, and on the edge of the Brera district, it is perfectly positioned for visitors. Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
