I loved the Palazzo Segreti. It was recommended by a friend, & I'm so glad I booked it. Perfect location. Clean modern big room, and a great staff too. I was traveling solo and felt completely safe and was within 5 minutes of everything.

We booked the Hotel as an unknown and were delighted with it. the design is Italian modern in an old building and gives credence to the notion of Italy as a design leader. the breakfast is ample and deliciously typical AND THE ROOMS ARE A PLEASURE. THE HOTEL STAFF IS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND ABLE TO RECOMMEND THINGS TO DO. Its... More

Great value for money situated right next to the main corso of Milan. Give 10 mins walk from the Douomo and many other of Central Milans attractions. The hotel is a renovated boutique hotel that hasn't most its sense of identity while modernizing. The pre war period elevator was a great abstract design as where the details of the rooms.... More

Great hotel, with a modern twist. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. We had an upgrade to a larger room which was much appreciated. Fantastic location close to Duomo. The restaurants recommended by the hotel staff were not particularly good, we felt they were overpriced and touristy but everything else was great.

Really nice stay last night in Palazzo Segreti last night. It is difficult to find rooms larger than 15-20m2 in centro storico, but the suites in this hotel are well above the average. Romantic spot and very close to the duomo. Very good restaurant Andry is next doors. Rooms are modern design but still warm interior.

The location on a quiet side street in and old building just steps from hoppin' Via Dante was excellent. Once the glass panel slides open and you enter it's a cool (literally!) shadowy, nearly theatrical change. Low key, quiet and proficient in the less-is-more school throughout. Our room on the 2nd floor with a small but charming balcony was all... More

We loved this small, intimate and cool hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and informative. The room was wonderfully appointed and luxurious - we had a suite. The hotel is well located in a quiet cul de sac, 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. We would happily recommend it and are already planning a return visit.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
