HD8 hotel is tricky to find even with Google Map in your hand. The hotel does not have the sign out in the building other than the hotel name on the door. The trick is to find that door first. Just look for Spontini Pizza chain or Toast Amore sign. The hotel is in between these two establishments. The breakfast was 15 Euro per person and the terrace has a great sweeping view. The view itself, I think, worth 15 Euro. We had three comfortable nights and had one breakfast there. I wouldn't have it every day, but you should try at least once. We loved the breakfast and the views. The hotel location is great as the both Yellow and Green Metro lines go thru nearby. The entrance to the Metro is just around the corner from the Hotel. There is a pharmacy on the same road about 3~4 blocks down where you could get your Covid tests, but you have to go there beforehand to make an appointment (or they would call it "reservation"). It was 20 Euro per a rapid antigen test, and they would give you the paperwork in 10 minutes or less. Don't forget to bring your passport. The hotel is 4~5 stations away from Duomo and you could also reach Navigli canal without any transfers on Green Line. Just purchase a day pass (7 Euro), which you have unlimited Metro and Tram rides. The hotel does not have microwave although it has a small freezer. Great location for your trip in Milan. The hotel was quiet and clean albeit small.

Brand new hotel and a great experience overall. Well designed (gorgeous lobby, gorgeous room) and a great view of Centrale - everything I’d hoped for. Breakfast on the top floor was also very cool. Not super central, but convenient for the station. Would certainly recommend while it’s still pristine 😉

Absoloutley terrible experience. My boyfriend booked for us to stay here 11th September 2020. As we were in the area a couple of days ahead we decided to check out where the hotel was so we knew in advance how to get there. We walked around for half an hour and couldn't find the hotel, we rang them and were given directions but still couldn't find it anywhere in the area. Thinking this seemed dodgy and with payment due to be taken that day we cancelled the booking and contacted booking.com, who we had made the reservation with. They came back to tell us that the hotel refurbishment (which we never knew about) had over run and the hotel now wasn't due to open until the 28th September. I can't express how baffling it was that we were never told of this, even when we were on the phone to a member of the hotels staff. We then got a message from the hotel staff to say that the hotel was closed and not opening until the 28th. We got no apology or explanation as to why we had been able to make a booking and 3 days prior to our stay hadn't had anything to say that our booking would need to be cancelled. If we hadnt been looking for the hotel ahead of time we would have really been left in the lurch, which when travelling abroad can be quite scary. I would not advise anybody to book to stay here. The whole thing is a mess and no apology whatsoever was given.
