Stayed three nights for work in November. Booked a single room and was happy to see it had a full-size bath in the bathroom- unusual for a single room. Room was generously proportioned for a single room. My colleague had a single room a few floors up and it had the same layout. Tea and coffee in the room was welcome but BYO robe slippers shampoo and conditioner. The Aircon was a bit stuffy but the window opened. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from – ask for a cappuccino and they’ll make it. Friendly staff. Good location. Close to Metro and good restaurants. Would stay again.

We arrived at noon unfortunately our room wasn't ready until 2pm but we could leave our cases there and we were informed we would be upgraded! The centre is about a 20 minute walk. The room was spacious which had a lovely bathroom and large shower. Breakfast was amazing with an abundance of choice! The food is constantly being replaced especially the scrambled eggs! Right upto 10.25am which is impressive! (they close at 10.30am) The staff are friendly and very efficient! We had a lovely stay!

We spent 5 nights at this delightful hotel which is in close proximity to La Scala. Our spacious room was located on the top floor with a beautiful tree outside the window. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Breakfast was served in a spacious dining room, one wall of which is covered with live plants. There is also a secluded outside patio leading out of the room surrounded by trees and each table is sheltered by an umbrella. Breakfast is wide-ranging with fruit, a selection of bread, croissants, buns and cakes plus eggs, pancetta, sausages and cheese. Best of all, the reception staff are extremely helpful, in particular, Alessia, who went well beyond the call of duty to help us get tickets for The Last Supper. Bravo, Alessia! Highly recommended as a place to stay.

I read a few of the reviews and they seem off. The hotel is across from a great park, excellent location, great value, bright & clean rooms. The front desk staff was super & offered great advice. But if you need a “Feel” of how the staff thinks, we had valet parking. The car had picked up a nail and had a flat tire. The staff proactively advised us of the problem and helped arrange on a Sunday afternoon a repair. Not an easy task in Milan on a Sunday. They walked us to the nearby garage and were super proactive (our car was not their problem). Very impressed. If this is not relevant to you, then here are some other positives, they arrange taxis that come in 2 minutes, they gave us a late check-out even though they were busy, super helpful on shopping and general tourist questions, breakfast and the bar staff were great, and all interactions with all staff were greeted with a smile. What more do you want? Good value, good location, good service, great staff. Everyone speaks multiple languages, all speak English. Enough said.

I booked this hotel based on there Terrace views. Many balconies in Europe only allow you to put one or 2 feet on the balcony but not sit there. This had adequate room. However, the gazebo above does not retract even though it looks like it should. It’s very claustrophobic and very little direct sunlight or breeze. The views are of a park but the park is overgrown with trees so there really isn’t any view. Because I chose this hotel based on the terrace, I would not return for that reason. They did have valet service which was basically the Bellman taking your car to some remote location and then retrieving it when you needed it. But you had to pay each time directly to him when you retrieved the car. Also the valet was closed between 1 AM and 7 AM. Staff was nice but not overly service friendly. It does not seem like there’s a culture of service here. It was relatively in a good location and very walkable. Bathroom had very little light. Room was typical European small, though we stayed in many hotels on this European vacation and never had to turn sideways to move between the bed and the bureau. Overall, nothing special.

It was a real pleasure to stay at this charming, comfortable and super friendly hotel. The staff at the reception were extremly friendly and helpful from the minute twe arrived. As a family with two teenagers, we booked two rooms on the same floor. Both rooms were very clean and useful, although our own room had a slight but constant smell of mold, which is actually the only reason I have rated this hotel 4 out of 5. Breakfast was rich, fresh and very tasty, and what a nice surprise to be able to eat it both indoors or outdoors in the lovely garden outside! The hotel is located just a 15 minute walking distance to Teatro alla Scala and the Duomo area, and there is a nearby Metro station (Turati) which was very useful as well. Despite the central location, we did not suffer from any noise and the overall atmosphere was quiet. The cream of the crop however was the magnificent park just opposite the Hotel - Giardini Indro Montanelli - where we could walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Extra bonuses: We could sit down and order great dinners at the Hotel on evenings when we didn't fell like going out. In addition, there is a small but useful fitness room on the 1st floor.

Room cleanliness; 15 minutes walk from La Scala Theater and other sights; delicious breakfast; friendly staff. There are two pillows in the room - one hard and the other harder, but it's a matter of habit

Ineptitude, avoidance, non functional - these are all accurate words to describe the Manin hotel and its staff. The negative reviews about the hotel staff among the reviews are accurate. While the hotel itself is adequate, proceed with caution when booking a room. On my September stay at this location, I encountered long lines at the front desk for check in and assistance and one of the two elevators was broken during my two day stay. This is pretty bad when navigating crowds and risks coming out of a pandemic. Further, the hotel lost my laundry which I hand delivered to the front desk the night of my arrival in front of two staff members and my guest. The hotel then had the nerve to attempt to charge me for the laundry on check out without returning my items. I had asked the front desk clerk twice to check on my laundry that afternoon and was dismissed with claims that it was being delivered by housekeeping. This was not the case and had she bothered to check on the items, she would have discovered there was a problem and the hotel could have tried to locate the items during business hours. I checked out with my laundry missing and not even a mention of trying to locate the missing or stolen item. Instead, I have multiple unanswered follow up emails (the address from their website) to the hotel asking for status and how they intend to resolve the items they lost. Mistakes happen, but how you respond to and address problems is what shows an establishment to be quality or not. This hotel and management are amateur at best.

Excellent service. The people at the concierge were very kind and willing to answer all our questions from the moment we arrived. In addition they suggested nice local restaurants, where we enjoyed authentic and non expensive italian food .! The location is ideal. Everything in walking distance and in a nice neighbourhood. We felt like home. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. We highly reccomend it to everyone! Thank you all once again .
