We booked a room for 1 night for 4 people. When we arrived nobody knew about our reservation ( there were the owner Marlene and some old man present ) and made no effort helping us at first. Marlene was unfriendly and none of the people there spoke english. Since none of us speaks italian fluently they had someone from...

I booked accommodation in this hotel for my friends. The hotel asked me to pay 1.200 EUR in advance which I did. They have canceled my accommodation and never paid the money back (it´s more than one year after). There is a woman Marlene Torres which only promises to send te money but never do it. The hotel is going...

An average experience at a good price. Rooms were being renovated (oct. 2012) and needed some details ... but were spacius. Beds were hard ... but i prefer them this way. Breakfast were simple - but included. Hotel owner is a good spirited cuban woman who speaks spanish and italian - but not so good english. Anyways she is helpfull....

We reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights on the 3-4th of October 2012, through Booking.com. First they charged my credit card one month before, although it was written that no deposit will be charged. The owner which is also the receptionist and she serves also the breakfast, doesn't speak English. There are no parking places so if you are lucky,...

The staff at the Hotel Marlene were very nice and helpful. The price is right and the location was convenient, with a bus stop just around the corner and a train station within a 10 minute walk. Cons included feeling the springs on the bed when I slept and loud late-night arguing on one out of my two night stay...

I was in a single room. The hotel and room were very clean room and in a quiet location. The accomodation is basic but with great extras like air conditioning and sky-tv. The staff were friendly. Good breakfast provided. Very easy to get into Piazza Duomo by bus (10 mins). If you are looking for basic accomodation to get a...

Don't expect luxury - I recommend this hotel for young or youngish couples only - but it's clean and in a nice and well-served area of Milan. The hotel occupies the whole second floor of an early-XX-century building; there is a lift as well (though it's the old kind of lift which sometimes gets stuck because people do not close...

I work at a small B&B in Norway as receptionist and also as a cleaner, so I know a bit about standards. The single room was well equipped with, desk, chair, bed, closet and a minifridge with water and soft drinks. That was very nice when I woke up with a pounding head after a night at the local Bajaluna...
