This hotel was in the Brera district. We arrived a little earlier than check-in time, but we were able to leave our bags in the breakfast room while we ate and wondered the town. I liked the location of our hotel. We were able to...More

The hotel is located in Brera district of Milan. It is close to huge park where every morning I had quite a good run. Breakfast is ok, basic ingredients are fine and croissaints are freshly baked. In the nearby there are a lot of nice...More
needed a quick place to stay. 3 stars? Should be ok. But was better than OK.

The location of this hotel is great, with umpteen restaurants and cafes around. Not too touristy an area, which is nice, not too much traffic, and a great place to walk around. Some nice boutiques around and the metro is less than a 5 minute...More

Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to
admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).

It's very easy to just get a taxi from the dedicated taxi area outside the arrivals exit. Rate is set and you'll have no issues with getting ripped off or finding whoever is supposed to meet you if you hassle with pre-arranging a collection... I'd say, just keep it simple. Enjoy Milan, it's fabulous!!!

Good question but a difficult answer as there are TWO subway entrances, one on each side of the street. So, depending on which way you come out of the subway will determine the direction. The hotel is only a half block away. It is very close, so if you go the wrong direction you wont walk far before you realize it.
