I stayed for three nights in a double room, heating was on full the entire stay and to cap it all I'm covered in bed bug bites. The Bar man was a good chap however the bar closes early on Friday and Saturday which I found rather odd.

Hotel that reminds you of another time with an Italian approach. The rooms have a funny list of buttons, reminds me of some old James Bond film. Hotel is nice, authentic and located centrally. Would not overpay for this location and rooms, but if in budget definitely a solid option.

The hotel was a trifle expensive but good. The rooms were quite spacious and All facilities in the room were up to the mark. the staff was polite and helpful. The location was good too- just about 5 min by foot away from the duomo. The breakfast was pretty lavish too. We visited here towards the end of nov 2016...

In the heart of Milano, near he Duomo, classy, historical hotel, friendly service, rooms for all price: some really large and luxurious, some pretty small, but still with a style. Some bathrooms feels a little "old". Good breakfast

The location is perfect (a very short walk from the Duomo and centre) , the staff were very helpful / polite, the room (and in fact the whole hotel) was clean and pleasant, the breakfast was abundant with a large choice and variety of products. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect, literally a 3 minute walk to the Duomo and main square. The hotel itself is very clean and tidy but a little dated, it looks like it hasn't been decorated since the 80's. The facilities in the room were fine, the breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. The...

The hotel is very close to Milano's center, it is really good. Chambers are nice and calm, and all services are very good. The only weak point is the breakfast, which is served in a very large and very bright room, and crowded in the weekend at key hours. If you are not completely woken up yet, you are sure...

This was a great hotel and very quiet with a helpful staff. I had read other reviews that shaped my expectation and I was very pleased to find a very different experience. Highly recommend . They have quite the spread for breakfast and even make their own Parmesan.

Chose this hotel because of its location, 5 minutes walk from Duomo, so it was ideal for seeing all the principal sights. All the staff were relaxed, friendly and efficient, especially those in the breakfast room, who replenished the wide range dishes regularly. Some of the best orange juice I have tasted, freshly squeezed in a machine on the counter....

Chose this hotel primarily on location and was not disappointed. Standard of accommodation and welcome good although the younger members of staff had more warmth than those nearer my vintage.. Enjoyed a light evening snack in the bar area.

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
