Solid Ibis hotel near to the central station. 30 minute walk to the main square, cathedral and famous shops. Other shops, bars and restaurants close to the hotel though. Room was standard with enough space for a couple with luggage - bathroom was smart and shower was good. Used the bar in hotel - good service and reasonably priced.
Ibis Milano Centro is an excellent hotel to stay while in Milan -it's located not far from the train station, and also with a Metro Station located not very far. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, a very good continental breakfast, a car-park (to pay extra - 30Eur daily), but most of all friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. The hotel has also a very good restaurant. Definitely recommended
Very attentive staff at check in and bar and always went that extra mile to help. The location was perfect for seeing central Milan, with a walking distance of approximately 30mins and 15 mins walk from the central train station. The rooms do not have tea/coffee facilities and although ours was on the small side, it was clean, comfortable and did the job for a city break. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended which provides hot and cold food. If you arrive before your check in time. The hotel has a safe/secure facility to keep your luggage whilst you explore the area. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within 5/10 mins walk from the hotel and can highly recommend “Nice Cafe”.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Can’t fault the room. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a great view overlooking Milan and couldn’t hear the trams / traffic. Room has everything you need. Comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only problem we found was both days when we went back up to our room after our day out our card didn’t work so had to go back down to reception for them to activate it, having to wait for the lift being so high up. Didn’t try the breakfast but it was only €11 euros which is a good price for the city. Would definitely stay again.
Lots of good things for this hotel . Good location , near to train station and nice area for bars and restaurants . Hotel itself with great installations , it was very busy which was good to see after the pandemic , we checked in around 9.30pm and it was quick. Little issue with Wi-Fi but quickly resolved with help of reception staff . Room is basic but got all you need. It was the best we found in regards to price / location in Milan . It has a nice bar area , only con was bar Didn’t have any ice during all of our stay. Something to improve . Breakfast although was very acceptable, felt overcrowded and with not the best lay out, probably something else to improve too. All in all, good value, good location, with security all day (and night), at least we always saw a security gentleman there. Reception staff was helpful. Wi-Fi worked. Not much more we could ask for the money we spent. When you spend little, you can’t expect outstanding. We had a great sleep, bed was comfy and had everything we need (we’re easy people), breakfast is super decent but go early otherwise it’s busy and stressful.…
Gotta admit that I was scared coming into this hotel, after reading the reviews. However, other than the typical AC issues in Europe (they turn on/off as they please during colder climate) and lack of room amenities, our stay was great. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful, breakfast was really great and location felt safe and centric. It’s not a luxury stay but it was in par with other similar hotels I have stayed and visited.
Rooms are comfortable. Hotel is in a great location for access to trains and the Duomo centre. Unfortunately our room had a bad smell each morning which came from the bathroom. I referred it to hotel staff who said they would have housekeeping check. There was no feedback and the smell remained for the balance of our stay. Note this hotel does not offer a discount off food or drinks for Accor silver members.
If you are just looking for a place to stay in a good location (close to main train station) but affordable price this is ok Nothing special and typical ibis quality Room only has two plugs Area has some nice looking clothes shop and restaurants
we were there for an exhibition so the prices were not the regular ones very expensive > typical ibis hotel so did not expect anything great > our stay was a comfortable one > the only thing i did not like was their breakfast have had better ones in their other properties > what we liked is that it is not far from the main city center plus also it has lot of restaurants around it
Stayed here for three nights. Room was basic but all you needed. Clean and comfortable. The location was great for walking to the station and central Milan Breakfast was good and had plenty even when busy, we paid for this separate on the days we wanted it. We had a quick check in but did notice at other times how busy the reception area is and how big the queues were. I think we got lucky We would stay here again, great base for a city break if you just want a base
