Marco the barman is so friendly and welcoming he really makes this hotel worth staying at. The other great thing about this is its closeness to the central railway station and the metro. If you are a single traveller I would recommend you go here as Marco will make you feel comfortable.

I was on a business trip in Milan and chose the Auriga Hotel because it is central. Even though it is literally next to Milano Centrale, I was travelling by car. The hotel does not have a parking, but next to it are at least two attended parking garages. The service in the hotel was friendly, the room was nice.

The location was very convenient - just minutes walk away from the rail station. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The deco was a bit old but acceptable. The bathroom was quite spacious. The staff was helpful and reasonably friendly. We could hear and feel some kind of train running in our room (either the train or the tram nearby) but... More

Stayed here for my second trip to the Italian Grand Prix and what a gem of a place it is. Just a hop from Central Station so within easy reach of all Milan locations. We were lucky enough to get their 2 suites in the top floor, both with balconies and very well appointed bedroom, sitting area and bathroom. On... More

I have stayed here twice thus far and I intend to continue this tradition in the future. Once you step out of the Central Station, you can see the hotel sign. Who can beat that?? Its décor reminds me of a travelling circus; very colorful and jolly. The room is comfortable, clean and the bathroom is new (at least in... More

We were only in Milano for 24 hours, and arriving & departing by train, so wanted something close to the main train station, but easy to get to the key attractions, plus very comfortable after a long flight. Really nice hotel - room was spacious and very clean and the bath was a wonderful treat after a LONG day of walking.... More

It's situated next to the central railway station - you can see the big letters "Auriga" on top of the hotel building across the square when you walk out. Via G.B. Pirelli is a small side street, so you won't be disturbed by street noise, BUT you can here the sound of underground trains, even on the third floor (fortunately,... More

Firstly the location, just 3min from the Central Station (so metro and also the bus stop from and to Bergamo Airport). Everyone in the reception speak English and are very helpful and polite (they advice us where to go for a dinner, give us maps, there were no problems with late coming back etc), also waiters in the breakfast restaurant.... We arrived in Milan for an overnight stay, planning a day to see the city, then leaving in the morning. We wanted something close to the train station in order to get an early start the next day. Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
