The people were very friendly and the room was very comfortable (we were 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids - and had plenty of space). The hotel is very close to Milan central station (walking distance 2 minutes or so). There are lots of places to eat a snack or have a more complete meal nearby. The breakfast could...

The toilet smell is so awful that we got sore throat after a couple of hours. The hotel had one guy manning the reception. He was very angry that we feared to approach him. This is my first and last time with them. My honest advice, please do not make the mistake of staying with them.

We stayed here one night after returning to Milan to catch our flight home. This property was not one of our favorites although it was clean and convenient to the Milano Centrale train station. The room was no frills and basic, but lacking any personality and seemed dark. The breakfast was ok but I have had better breakfasts at other...

Nice hotel, close by the Stazione Central and Metro. Small TV but we didn't go to Milan to watch TV. Nice rooms. Breakfast was OK, not a huge choice, but enough for us. No hot eggs which was a disappointment. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Decor a little dated but acceptable. I would stay again.

Although a 3 Star hotel, I am giving it a 4 star. A few minutes walk from the Central Station. Nice and central, and few minutes walk to subway. Friendly check in. Room was ok, bathroom a good size, as was the bed. A small TV, and an European breakfast was served, which was fine, but coffee was not brilliant....

The hotel is well located for those who come to or depart from Milan by train. It is just two blocks away from the huge/monumental station. It is clean, comfortable and offers a delicious breakfast. Besides, the reception is open 24 hours.

The site is very nice: near central train station, close to a lot of restaurants and in a clean zone. The rooms aren't modern style ones with a bit of lack of cleanliness. The very serious problem is the breakfast: Very little place causing difficulties to move even with a low number of people inside. Very poor variety of food,...

We selected the hotel based on its location near Central Station. It is from the 1980s but maintained well and certain parts updated. The room and breakfast we're perfect for the 60 Euros that I paid. From the front door of the hotel, it is only a 10-minute walk to the train station platform.

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
