Starting with the fact that this hotel's position is almost unbeatable, we literally were only 7 minutes walking from the station which made our trip so much easier, also you have easy access to the metro (which we did not use because everything is within a walkable distance from the hotel, maximum 20 minutes walking to get to the Duomo, 35 minutes to get to QC termemilano spa). We loved the reception people! We interacted with a super nice worker whom went beyond everything to make us feel as comfortable as possible, he was super attentive. Also, they speak Italian, English and I have heard him speaking a little bit of Spanish, so it is definitely an international tourism friendly hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service cleans every day and provides everything from towels to slippers to a beauty kit. Breakfast is also included and it is delicious! Me and my fiance have eaten more than what we should have because the brioche are amazing and the focaccia with salame is very good quality too! Definitely an hotel to consider!!

Hotel's Favourite
Only ten minutes walk from the Milano Centrale railway station, it was also easy to locate. It is in the business district and if that's why you are in Milan it is well placed. Check-in and check-out were quick and simple with internet password supplied, breakfast explained etc. There is also a supermarket directly opposite the hotel as well as a number of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, some only yards away from the front door. There is also a nearby Metro station. The room had a very comfortable big bed, the decor was amazing. real old style Italian furniture and decorations . Quite splendid and the bathroom suite was something to behold. Wifi worked reasonably well, sometimes excellent sometimes less so, but that's par for the course. Breakfast was good.....variety on offer including yoghurts, cereals, pastries, croissants, cold meats and cheese as well as scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon and sausages. Staff were helpful and polite. The first night there, my air-conditioner was not working and I asked about it just prior to going out for a couple of hours. By the time I returned it was working fine. It had been repaired. Great service. The bar on the roof terrace is amazing. Well stocked and with fabulous views over Milan. Downside? Not very much except that in this day and age I would liked to have had a coffee machine or at least a kettle with instant coffee and tea in my room, which sadly was not there. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Marconi and would certainly not hesitate in returning.

The room was at the rear of the building, we looked at a wall. Change of the room was not possible! Breakfast was very good. Staff was not helpful, seemed to be fed up with the job! The hotel has a charme with beautiful furniture, bathroom all in marble!

There is an older gentleman who worked the front desk night shift in January 2023. He is very rude, unfriendly and dismissive. He should not be in the hospitality business. He is unhelpful and quite a turnoff for guests.

Superb short stay over NY weekend in Milan, booked last minute so a little stuck for alternatives. Very helpful staff and very attentive staff at breakfast. The room was excellent. The breakfast was superb with a huge variety on offer and buffet style, so no issues there.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Marconi. Very close to Central station and the tram which runs past the hotel goes straight there. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were very obliging and helpful.. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Easy to get to all places of interest as it is close to Metro Tram and bus stops. Supermarket across the road and lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Lovely introduction to Milan. We’ll be back.

This hotel is exceptionally convenient to the station and city centre and has restaurants, bars and bakeries nearby. The reception staff are efficient. Don't expect friendly. It is rather grand with a surplus of marble (from an earlier age?). The King Room had a very large bed and was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom - with a very large shower. The rooftop bar was open in the evening and was very relaxing and cool in the breeze. The buffet breakfast was good apart from the juices that were possibly squash. There is no pool or gym. Perhaps they were closed as that is normal for four star. There are no coffee/tea making provisions in room. Strange.

So, my comment about the indicators, lets call them emergency. My reservation was done mistakenly for the wrong date ( 3 month difference ) The hotel refuses to refund the payment , this is the reflection of all other services you will be lucky to get in this facility
