Very good location, situated within easy reach of Tram stop and Metro. The Duomo square and Cathedral is about a 10min walk away. Rooms are spacious, well decorated and have all facilities for tea and coffee. Modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Hotel staff are quite friendly. Rooms were always regularly cleaned well. The bar area was ok, however on occasion it was difficult to find any bar staff to order drinks. Although when we found "Fabio" who we assume was a Bar and/or Front office manager, everything got better. He interacted with us and chatted, and had a friendly and fun personality. Breakfasts were good, although we did find ourselves waiting for a while for the scrambled eggs to be replenished! Overall it was a pleasant experience and probably earns a 4 star rating.

I travel worldwide a lot and I have what to compare with. I had never written negative reviews but here I couldn't stay silence. I was ok when guy front of me on reception said that the receptionist given him key from room where already was sleeping someone, I was ok when next day after 22 I had call to my room from reception with requirement to bring them credit card cause they forgot take it before. (I was already sleeping in case!) BUT the most awful thing is that they STEAL things! I forgot my new electronic toothbrush (cost 250 euro) in the room on the bed cause it has white case and I found out this fact only in my next destination in Paris. I immediately called them and sent email. And I had answer by email only in one day (when I called and begged to answer me ASAP) that my toothbrush not found. And when I asked please to check it one more time, I even didn't get any respons. I could believe that it had been stolen in airport if I dropped off my luggage But I had only hand luggage. And og course new electronic toothbrush which cost 250 euro with interchangeable head is a good things to have for free. So my conclusion NEVER EVER AGAIN visit this unfriendly low hotel. TOTTALY DO NOT RECCOMEND!…

Central location , we walked about 10-12 minutes for Duomo square.In the neighborhood there are nearby restaurants, supermarkets and a tram and metro station.Clean , well heated rooms ,big bathrooms.There are some small damages at the lobby area and at the rooms .We did not care about , but in case you want to charge high rates you need to pay attention at the details.Also mini bar rates were high.The staff was polite and help us with everything .Only the receptionist that we checked in was a little bit strict .We had buffet breakfast which was ok .I would defenantly suggest it to someone .

I found the Uptown Palace on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint! We had one of the family rooms. It was perfect for my me, my husband and teenage son. Our room was spacious and enough room for all of us. Great bathroom as well. The location was perfect, walking distance from everything you would want to do in Milan. The staff at the front desk were all so friendly. While I have read that others found the rooms noisy, it was only as noisy as you would expect in a big city. If you visit Milan, this is a highly recommended hotel!

We booked this hotel as it looked good and was an Expedia VIP Hotel… I now regret that choice. We booked a superior room which stated it was a soundproof room. It wasn’t. In fact it was quite the opposite. We were woken up by every passing car with special mention going to the sirens from the emergency services. We also heard every bang, knock or movement from the room next door. We didn’t sleep very well because of all the noise. We expected a bathroom robe in our room as that’s what the booking listed. They were not there. The room was dusty and dirty. I lost count on the amount of long brown hairs we found in our room, bath, shower, bed and on the floor. I could have collected them all and made a wig! The tv was small. The shower was good, and the bath was as deep as described. The hotel had a nightly turn down service which was a bit of a surprise. I’ve only had a turn down service at very expensive places so was actually nice to see that this hotel had that service. We had a view at the front of the hotel. Literally above the hotel lobby, so we heard every vehicle turning up. The hotel had a nice bar, but they insisted on paying €7 for an ice bucket to be delivered to the room. The ironic thing was that the ice bucket was for a bottle of wine that the previous Expedia VIP hotel had given us. This hotel isn’t the same as some of the other Expedia VIP hotels and it’s only a matter of time until they get caught out. When we checked out, they were intent on trying to get as much money out of us as possible. They charged all of the usual resort fees and told us we had a minibar bill to pay (we didn’t use the minibar). They also tried to make us pay for parking (we didn’t have a car). We received a note to say that as a VIP Expedia customer we are entitled to a a late check out. I called up the night before to ask whether it was possible to check out two hours late. They said no, but we could check out at 1300. At 11:45 they called the room to remind us that we had to leave, I explained that we had arranged a check out at 1300, they said ok and hung up. They called Again at 1230 to ask if we needed any help removing our bags from the room! By the point I had completely given up on this hotel. As far as I’m concerned it’s a noisy 2 star hotel with comfortable bedding. That’s it. I would recommend avoiding this hotel. Also note there is construction work going on outside too!…

wonderful staff especially on reception, good central location, hotel room was lovely and a good size. The decor was good and the breakfast was very nice. The hotel staff were able to recommend some restaurants as well and it was easy to get a taxi cab from outside the hotel.

Business trip and meeting inside the hotel. Positive:clean room close to Duomo walking distance Negative:my room was in 2nd floor there was noise from outside ( no soundproofing) As the breakfast and restaurant was on the 3rd and my room was below the above area, early in the morning ( breakfast served from 7:00) and late night there was noise from the preparation (moving chairs table,split room)

Top hotel in the heart of Milan. Staff very friendly. Fabio and Giovanni was always there to welcome you at the bar and restaurant and always happy to see us. Room was great and bed was very comfortable. Only eat in the restaurant twice but food was brilliant. Breakfast time was continental but there was also hot food. Very enjoyable stay would definitely come here again
