Even though Melia is a five stat hotel, it looks very old and old fashioned. It definetely needs renovation. The hotel is far from the city's historic centre but the Metro is really close, like 2 minutes walking! The good part about it is that the price is really tempting!

Dear AngRzk Thank you for sharing with us your feelings about the experience at Meliá Milano. The Meliá Milano is situated with in touching distance of the beating heart of Milan’s financial district, yet at the same time well away from the chaotic traffic of the big city. Located in the Fieramilanocity district, it is just a few minutes ride...

We booked with Galahotels at a special rate of 80 euro/night (double room with king side bed - bed and breakfast), but the city tax was not included (another 5 euro per night per person). Big, clean rooms, good staff, early check-in if the rooms are available and THE BEST BREAKFAST YOU CAN GET IN ITALY!!! I think that if...

Next time I will be in Milan I will definitely stay again in this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms (even the standard ones) are very comfortable, location is great, price for the night is acceptable (compared with other hotels) and breakfast is terrific. The hotel is really very close to the underground station - about 150m (only 8...

OK. Older style, great reception/lobby, old style marble and stairs. Reception not immediately obvious. Great bar staff. Good beer n good wine. Breakfast on the 1st floor - typical hotel buffet style. Coffee better than some I could mention - I have had better too. Reception staff good and helpful. Location a bit out side the centre - a taxi...

We stayed in Melia in Milan for 3 nights, every day we had to kill Mosquitos upon returning to the room and this became rather annoying! I always request staying on a higher floor to avoid bug problems but it's usually only an issue at tropical destinations and totally unexpected in this type of hotel/location. Mosquitos aside, the location is...

Spent two nights at this hotel on a weekend break to Milan. It's 15 mins max on the Metro (tube) to the city centre - with the Metro station just a two mins walk from the hotel. We found the staff very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was really clean. Slightly dated in decor but in no way shabby....

I was booked into the Melia by an agency, and would not usually stay in such a place by choice. My personal preference is more boutique style hotels. Firstly, let me say that the staff were very courteous; not overly friendly as I have found (and quite like) in other establishments, but perhaps this is how 5 star hotels operate-...

Our feelings on this hotel are quite mixed. The hotel itself is lovely. It is very clean and all brass surfaces, mirrors etc are highly polished and sparkling. Our room was a good size (upgraded) and everything was excellent except the shower head that sprayed water everywhere. The suburban location of the hotel made it difficult to find a casual...
