This Milan hotel is quite convenient to the Milan Centrale train station once you pick the correct road from in front of the station. At night there are a few questionable people just hanging around in front of the train station, but this isn't hotel issue. I paid for the cheaper single bed room, which is in their 3 star...

The staff was exceptional always willing to help, especially at reception and breakfast. The hotel was comfortable, with a good bed and enjoyed great extras such as free soft drinks in the mini fridge. The location was also excellent, located five minutes from Milano Centrale Train/Metro Station and next door to a fantastic restaurant, Osteria Italiana. Will definitely visit again

Hotel Berna is a hotel convenient to the central train station in Milan. The staff is very welcoming. Our room was on the small size but it had all the amenities you would expect to find. The bed was comfortable and the Internet worked. The shower was enclosed and had a wand and a rain shower. The water was hot...

it's a very nice atmosphere. You feel the staff is a part of the owner. Just one little mistake in our room was solved very much and quick. We had a very relaxing stay. Also the service at the breakfast. You feel the patron lady is behind.

The service we received from all staff was exceptional. Thanks to Cesare for helping me with my Italian language skills ,and to the fabulous Max behind the bar. Love the fact that I received an email within a couple of hours of booking, through an external provider, giving me the option to choose what sort of pillows etc I would...

I liked my stay a lot. The room was clean and fresh. This is not a chain hotel and has its own good character. Staff were friendly and responsive. Great breakfasts! Great location next to the Central Train Station, yet it was quiet. Overall, definitely worth its price - I'd stay there again.

We chose this hotel for two reasons. 1. It is close to centrale station (which we needed) and 2. Because of the wonderful reviews on Tripadvisor. Since we needed to be close to centrale station this locations was important to us. However, if you are holidaying in Milan, there are much nicer locations to choose from. The hotel itself is...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
