I was really impressed with this quaint hotel . We were only able to stay one night . The room was very clean and we received an email before we arrived to find out how we liked our pillows , temperature in the room , what FREE beverages we would like in the bar , and my all time favorite...

This warm friendly hotel was a wonderful place to begin our trip to Italy. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful and there were generous touches of a coffee machine and treats available. The position is perfect to get around Milan and it was very good value for money

Hotel is 10 minute walk from Centrale Railroad station. Room is spotless, renovated , and ultra modern. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and recommend sights, restaurants, etc. The metro is close by so you can connect to other parts of city or take train from Centrale to lakes for day trip. We stayed at Hotel Berna during a short girlie trip to Milan in late Jan 2017. The location of the hotel is really the best as it is only a few minutes walk to Milan's grand central station where the shuttles to all Milan airports arrive at and set off from. So transport to and from the airport was so...

All my experiences with Italian Hospitality were warm, friendly and welcoming with the exception of Hotel Berna wherein i checked in at the end of my Trip. Short break, bed rooms excellent, breakfast service and choice great, although room a touch cramped. Max behind the bar was a credit to the Hotel, we had a great debate over a few drinks, really helpful guy with his advice. Thanks

There is absolutely nothing they could do better. Delightful quirky old hotel, as clean as could be , beds made to order, fridge filled as you want. Then the best buffet breakfast I have ever seen. All provided by the most amazing staff team... we will be back!

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
