A great little hotel in a great location for access to everything Milan has to offer. It is within walking distance to Central Station and Pto Venezia with all its shops and restaurants, Duomo and the more central sights are a short Tram or Metro ride away which are regular and easy to get around on. The rooms are very...

Here is a nice and clean hotel. Located not far from the city center and the metro and tramway station also from the central railway station (also the bus stop from the airport). The hotel is simple, but clean and confortable. Breakfast is not bad, you have fruits, cereals and pastries, it's ok ! One of the receptionists was horrible...

So after reading the reviews for this hotel I was expecting a very run down old fashioned hotel with awful staff. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised on arrival as the hotel is very clean and modern and nothing like the pictures on here! We stayed here for two nights, great location for walking to the centre/the cathedral and...

The is the second time we stayed in Hotel Sempione. The first time was in 2011 and the room was very tiny but the last time (Nov/16) we got a very good room with a remodeling bathroom. Sempione is a good value, has a good location, a walking distance from the subway. is very clean and good breakfast. The staff...

My wife and I and four kids (17, 14, 11, 8) spent one night. The staff was a little cold, as others have mentioned, but I found them helpful. The rooms were decent size, very clean and modern. The location was a three minute walk to the convenient and reasonably-priced subway. The free breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, meat,...

I try not to write negative reviews but i stayed here with a school group for 2 nights. The srudents had triple share rooms and 1 teacher had an ok room, but the other teacher and I had single rooms that weren't very nice at all. They were very small, single bed only. That I could cope with but the...

Negative - The staff weren't very polite or helpful, no kind words, no smile. Wi-fi connection was very slow, sometimes it was impossible to connect. Shower cabin is very small. Furniture needs refreshment. TV was small and had only 20 channels, very bad screen, it was impossible to volume up. Breakfast could be better, too. Positive - Location, just 10...

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
