We paid more to stay here than we generally like to but it was worth it. The room was very clean and up to date. The beds were very comfortable and a quiet street made for wonderful sleeping. Many restaurants in the area and a five minute walk to the underground. This is in an Ethiopian neighborhood with great restaurants...

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel as it was an add on to a tour we took. It was conveniently located as we had to take a train the next morning. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They recommended a wonderful restaurant close to the hotel which we loved. The room was clean and comfortable. But the best part...

The Sanpi is superbly located off the Corso Buenos Aires shopping Strip on a quiet street with little traffic. The rooms are of a reasonable size for a European metropolis with comfortable beds and generally good facilities, including excellent wi-fi reception throughout the hotel. We had 2 stays of 2 days each. Both rooms were overlooking the courtyard, and we're...

Dear Mrs and Mr Gnomeas from Australia , Thank you so much for your stay in our Hotel in Milan , first night into the room 114 and second night into the room 138. As you have seen the rooms are so different each other , this because we think clients are different. Me and my team are so happy...

We recently spent three nights at the Sanpi and were very happy. On our first night we had a room overlooking the street. Noise was not a problem, but the sheer curtains in the bathroom offered very little privacy. We left our two big suitcases at the Sanpi while we spent a day and a night at Como. There was...

I stayed here for two nights and found the hotel to be ideally placed for exploring the city on foot, (Duomo is 15-20 mins away), and for quickly accessing the main road out of the city to my business destination. The hotel reception is staffed by extremely helpful people, fluent in English, and always ready and able to assist guests....

First night in Italy and we found this place on hotels.com and then looked them up on tripadvisor to find some good reviews so we went for it. Not too bad of location, not to far of a walk to city center but a little sketchy in the surrounding blocks...wonderful little place to eat just down the street, il carpaccio!...

This hotel was located just a block away from great and affordable shopping on Buenos Aires street. A short 20 minute walk gets you to the duomo and the central piazza. We stayed at several hotels in Rome, Verona, and Milan - this one was our favorite by far. Breakfast was nice and simple with hard boiled eggs, croissants, salami,...

We had 2 nights here, the location is good. It has a lovely courtyard to enjoy a coffee or drink in the afternoon, the staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious for a European hotel, and there is a Gym to use in the old wine cellar. Across the road is a fantastic authentic Italian restaurant we...

The hotel was fine, but nothing amazing. The breakfast was a bit booring, but bonus points to the waiter who took his time to make us a decent espresso. The biggest sellingpoint is the short distance to the city center.

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Sanpi Milano is a modern 4 stars boutique hotel member of the international chain Worldhotels. The hotel is made up of three buildings built at the end of the 19th century, and it has recently been renovated in accordance with a catchy design. The common spaces are inspired by a refined artistic taste thanks to the paintings of contemporary artists. The Hotel is located in the city center, exactly between Piazza Repubblica and Porta Venezia Corso Buenos Aires: the railway link stops in both and it connects with the nearby cities. The Duomo (Cathedral) and la Scala (Opera House) of Milano are reachable on foot. In fact in 10 minutes you will be there and in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and Montenapoleone street. The hotel is located in Via Lazzaro Palazzi that is a side street of Corso Buenos Aires, the longest shopping street in Europe. In addition the Sanpi is 200 meters far from the main subway lines (red line MM1 Porta Venezia which arrives directly to the exhibition center; yellow line MM3 Repubblica; green line MM2 Centrale). In 5 minutes on foot you can arrive to the Central Station (Air Terminal) and in the surroundings you can find as well the Garibaldi Station (High speed train terminal). The room experience offered from the Sanpi is just unique: 79 rooms one different from each other with atmospheres that range from the modern style interiors conceived by a famous architect studio, to the classic style of vintage furniture. Different rooms are provided with balcony that overlooks the beautiful internal garden, at shelter from the city noise. All the rooms are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, parquet floor, free satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and in the Suite and Deluxe type there is the hydro-massage bathtub.Within the hotel the guests have access to the modern fitness room Technogym wellness, to the lovely bar on the interior garden where they can be lulled by the silence: the ideal place to taste a cocktail and relax at the same time. In the light restaurant a selection of the best Italian tradition is served together with vintage wines. The small villa, which was once a crossing keeper box, represents now an exclusive house in our private garden. The Business corner is equipped with a PC with internet connection, a printer, fax and a photocopier and it is always at the guests' disposal. The Venice meeting room of 85 sqm can host corporate meeting thanks to the natural light and to all the necessary technical devices such as stereo surround, tv projector, board with changeable sheets. The Hotel Sanpi Milano is member of the international hotel chain Worldhotels and it is identified by the code WW in the GDS systems. The reservations can be done directly or using GDS or internet or mail.thank you for your attention and time. ... more   less
