Upon arrival the staff were friendly and organised. The room was clean enough but was last decorated in the 80s. Grey and black ash is not very nice. The bed was very hard and inflexible didn't bother me, I can sleep on a washing line but hubby suffered. Unbearably hot on an evening and centrally controlled so couldn't change it....

Stayed here for one night because it was near the train station, wasn't expecting anything great but this was really dismal. Room was shanty and smelled, wifi connection poor, bed and pillows were hard, windows/balcony were not safe. Overall, this place doesn't deserve 3 stars.

Hotel New York in Milan is a reasonable choice. The location is near the central station, where you can take the subway to the Dome area. The breakfast was average and the staff was friendly. The hotel rooms are clean, but the hotel lacks any italian charm and it is not very modern.

The room & bathroom are very clean. The beds are very comfortable. Service is very good. The best part is the hotel location. It's across the street from train station. If you buy a one day pass,or more days depending on your plans of staying, the mobilization is very easy & you cannot beat that price & easiness. We just...

Spent 1 night here. The room opens out into a blacony, which does not look safe, easy access if people were to climb over from other balcony. Window/door has to be opened, if not the room will get stuffy as there is no air conditioning during fall season. However there is a metal gate that can be lowered to cover...

Arrived here on Sunday, it is very close to centrale station, which made it easy to get there from the airport and to get to Venice but also brings noise of the underground under you room. This even shook the plugs in the wall and turned things on and off. It was hard to sleep through. Also the noise from...

A very nice hotel, with very nice staff and an excellent location. It is across the road from Milan central train station and a 1 minute walk from the city sightseeing blue line stop. It is about a 20 minute walk to the cathedral. Our room had a balcony facing the train station with a table and chairs. There are...

So close to Central Station. As soon as I got off the train and left the station it was the first place I saw. Reception staff very friendly and helpful, I was able to check in early. Room was fine, if a little dated and the shower cubicle was small, other than that everything with the room was great. It...

Like many we had taken advantage of Ryan Airs cheap flights to bergamo. We went to Venice for 3 days and had 2 nights in Milan. This hotel was absolutely perfect for us. Firstly it's opposite the Central milan station and secondly there are a number of buses that leave from there direct to bergamo airport and charge only 5...

Unbeatable location at Centrale Station. Cheap prices for Milan. Nice staff, very friendly and helpful. They even gave us to go breakfast on check out very early. Thoughtful. Rooms are nothing special, a bit of wear and tear in the rooms. It is old. We got a room with a terrace which was nice as a bonus!

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
