Stayed here for three nights in September for a girls weekend in Milan. Although the decor was somewhat dated, the hotel was immaculately clean and the staff absolutely wonderful. The location was also fantastic - a short pleasant walk through the park to the main...More
My wife and I stayed here two nights in September. Although it is advertised as 900 metres from Cadorna Station, it is a much longer walk, especially if you have luggage. We ended up taking a cab (8 Euros to hotel and 10 Euros back...More

We didn't arrive via Bergammo Airport, we came in through Milano Linate Airport and took a taxi from there which was not expensive and quick and easy. WARNING- do not take a cab offered by the well-dressed touts at the airport. Go to the taxi rank and get one there. It is much cheaper. I presume these touts will be in force at Bergamo airport too. If you opt for public transport into the city the tram system is excellent and cheap and easy. Get off at Corso Sempione via Canova and it is an easy walk to the Lancaster.
