A friend and I stayed here for two nights recently for the Italy v England football match. It may not be the most salubrious or luxurious of hotels but the staff, hospitality, assistance and welcome was truly marvellous. I must particularly thank Paula, who speaks brilliant English and is so warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming, a great, fantastic person. I think it's the staff who can make hotels the best experience, and here they are fantastic. If I am ever in Milan again it would be great to stay here again.

This is just my honest personal review of my experience staying at this hotel fo four days/nights. The hotel owner and Manager Paola is a wonderful woman: speaks perfect English having worked and lived in Ireland and UK. She was so friendly and helpful to my many enquires! The staff during my stay: Fluvio, Tobia, Natalia and Guido could not do enough to help me during my stay for which I was and am very grateful. My one concern was that the hotel was too far out from the centre of Milano but I needn’t have worried as it is a very easy short journey by Metro from the centre and a short walk (5 minutes) from the Metro station (LOTTO) to the hotel. The hotel was quiet, immaculately clean and the breakfast food and drink tasty and of good quality-no complaints! My single bedroom was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed. Paola and her staff couldn’t do enough to make my stay as good as possible. The purpose of my visit was sightseeing and it was easily achieved from the location of this hotel via the excellent Metro. I would honestly say (in my opinion) that there isn’t much to see or do or a great variety of places to eat in the vicinity of the hotel after a good walk around the area. I will return to Milano and will stay at this hotel again due to its wonderful owner and staff, lovely accommodation provided, location of the hotel and excellent connection to the centre of Milano served by the Metro. It was a great ‘base’ from which to travel in and out of Milano to do sightseeing.

Location was good. Wi-fi was working fine. Staff was ok. Breakfast was so and so... For a one night stay is convenient. They provide toiletries and also toothbrush and shaving utensils. It looked outdated. I did not like the bed sheets, basically a regular sheet and on top a blanket (so not inside the sheet) so not sure if same blanket for all guests or is being washed ...

I had chosen this hotel only because it was the nearest to my meeting venue. Visited during a rainy day, i was soon made to feel at home. It is a friendly hotel, affordable rates, good breakfast, very quiet and only 12 rooms and very clean. A small jewel in a large city!

We stayed at this hotel twice over a two week period for two individual nights, the first was with with our whole family of 5 and booked two separate rooms on the same floor, the second was for just my eldest son and I where we shared a single twin room. We choose this hotel because of how close it was to the San Siro which we planned to do the stadium tour on our first visit and then to attend Inter v Lecce on our second visit. Firstly the price for both visits was very reasonable and included a fantastic breakfast of cereals, bagels, croissants, eggs (boiled and scrambled), bacon and lemon cakes. All of which was fresh and well stocked! The reason why this hotel was so great is the staff! They were so kind, allowed us to park in front of the hotel throughout our visits, to giving great directions and places of interest to visit to the cleaner who found one of my children’s toys and kept it safe for our second visit to give it back to us! You don’t get that kind of service from large hotel chains and they made our stay in Milan one to remember through this simple touches. Thank you and when we return to Milan we will be sure to only stay here.

The room was a nice size for two people and very comfy beds plus you get a mini fridge. The staff were really nice and the breakfast was good but a bit basic. Great location near a metro. But the bathroom was a bit dodgy, the shower door was difficult to open and close and the toilet flush would get jammed.

Hotel is a great choice especially if you're going to San Siro stadium. It is also very lose to Lotto metro station which can take you anywhere within minutes. The staff especially Paola is very helpful. I make it a point when buying tickets for San Siro concerts to book my room at Lido Hotel first :)

I'm a repeat user of the hotel simply as it offers as a solo traveller excellent value, clean comfy rooms with adequate facilities and great personal service. Not had an issue on any visit, staff always happy to help both before visiting and during visit in any way they might. Location is great for not just San Siro but as base to explore Milan as is two minutes from Lotto metro stop which has two lines, one of which is direct to Duomo. Will use again

The hotel is very old. The furniture, the bed mattress, the in room TV, the dirtiest corridor carpet, all in all this hotel needs a overall refurbishment. Hotel location is good, breakfast was good and the lady at the reception was great.
