The room is clean and cozy but nothing special. The breakfast is great, they have a barista for the coffee and a juicer so you can make your own fresh juice. I loved having fresh carrot juice every morning. The best thing about this hotel is the location, a beautiful neighbourhood to explore the canals, great restaurants and bars. If...

We spent three nights at Art Hotel Navigli. It is a modern and nice hotel. A welcome drink is offered at the bar of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a big range of choices. The staff was very friendly and professional. The metro station is just 5 minutes walking. Parking at the hotel....

Breakfast was probably the biggest selling point, it was included, and there was a great selection! I was really impressed by the breakfast considering how average the room was. Other noteworthy things- I thought it was weird that there were no towels in the spa..... The wifi was very disappointing, each code lasted 24 hours, which is fine, but you...

Stayed at the Art Hotel in room 507 for 4 nights in November. It's located across from a supermarket very close to the canal. The area of Navigli has lots of good restaurants and bars. And not an overwhelming amount of tourists which was NICE. We had a room with 2 single beds on the 5th floor. The beds were...

Fun location , just steps away from many restaurants and bars. The room was spacious and well kept . The breakfast buffet was very nice and the lobby bar was nice for a drink or two . If you have a car parking was easy .

This hotel is a 'must' if you're going to Milan for a short stay. Beautiful, stylish hotel in the heart of Navigli. Could not praise the the hotel, location, food and particularly the staff high enough. The added touch by the hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday was unexpected and an excellent surprise. Navigli itself is a hive of social...

I have been to Milan a few times now; and really liked this hotel. It's easy to get to from the central train station on the underground; the directions provided are easy to follow. It's about 5 minutes walk; across a little footbridge and to the right. - the room was a good size - the bathroom had a hairdryer...

One day conference at the hotel and three night stay for business at the exhibition. The rooms are nice and peaceful. Breakfast is really good and the fitness room is adequate for training on the go. The location is great for nights after business as the riverside is filled with restaurants. A variety of really good, yet reasonably prices restaurants...

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this hotel which is near many good restaurants and a short walk from Porta Genova metro station. The buffet breakfast included everything you could wish for and was fresh and delicious. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and well looked after. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for 4 days. It is a great hotel with an amazing location. There are so many places to eat. Right next to the hotel is a decent supermarket where we stocked up on lovely wine to take home. On your first night you are invited to a free drinks with lots of snack. The breakfast is superb....

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
