We arrived late, (no problem) and stayed for two nights. Nice lobby, bar, etc. The location wasn't particularly near anything of interest to us, but it was a convenient short walk to all transportation. We took the subway/trains to our destinations. The room was spacious, air conditioned and quite clean. Slippers were provided which was a nice perk and good...

Arriving at the hotel, I was worried about the area. However, I ONLY can recommend both. The canal at night time its a fantastic venue with plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and professional. Oliver

Great hotel with modern rooms. Definitely surprised with it because of the area the hotel is in. Underground parking for 20 euro a night that was tall enough for our 9 passenger van to fit in. Breakfast was good and had a wide variety for the people (like me) that don't like making sandwiches for breakfast. One plus that I...

When we got to this area of the city around 11pm at night we were a little scared because of the type of people walking the street. We were pleasantly suprised when we got to the hotel. It was extrememly clean, modern and trendy. There is underground parking which was great and easily fit our 9 passenger van (20 Euro/night)....

We spent little time inside the hotel as it was a one-night stay in Milan, but we couldn't find any inconvenience in our room and the overall service. Breakfast was varied and the staff kind, the room and bathroom were no-frills but clean and spacious. View from the windows was not that attractive but it didn't matter to us. The...

I am currently sitting in my room in Art Hotel Navigli and am deeply disappointed by my choice. The location of the hotel is excellent if you're looking for great food and a different area of Milan. Proximity to the metro makes Milan city-touring easy. If you arrive at reception you start realising that this is 4-Star Italian Standard ......

The Art Hotel Navigli is well located in Navigli, which is an interesting area of Milan with canals lined with restaurants and art shops. If you are looking for a central location in Milan then this is not the best choice, although with a Metro station close by and 1 Euro metro tickets, it is simple to get to the...

We stayed here because it was close to NABA where our daughter is currently studying and we were visiting her - not close to much so it is more of a business hotel. Hotel check-in lobby looks like it came out of the 60's and the check-in manager was not the brightest or most helpful person. The room was not...

We chose an upmarket hotel as we only had one night. We had a 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable and spacious and we couldn't fault the service and the buffet breakfast. Our only regret was that it was about 5kms from the centre of the city. The canals make a great backdrop to the many restaurants and cafes.

Stayed for 1 night. Thought it might be pretty decent but was wrong. Friendly staff on check-in. Room was a bit of a shock as the price was not cheap (£140/night). Linoleum floor, no carpeting. Furniture looked cheap. Freezing and couldn't change air con. Tiny bathroom, cheap toiletries, awful towels. Bed not that comfortable. Room was quite large though. Breakfast...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
