If you look for a quiet and unique experience in Milan, I would recommend to stay here at Bronzino House. Only 2 rooms in this BB and it make you feel like home. Clean room and lovely decoration and I love balcony at the living room. It's nice for photo shot as well. Thank you our host who is very friendly and helpful. He arrange all you need during stay in Milan and there is a tourist map with metro line which is very helpful.

We have two priorities when looking for accommodation: a large, well-appointed room and a well-recommended host. The information and photos on Walter’s website, as well as the many positive reviews on TripAdvisor, led us to book the Ivory Room at Bronzino House for five nights. And this proved to be a good decision: in addition to the room, there is a small sitting area just outside the room as well as a bright, good-sized kitchen and a lovely terrace off the kitchen. Though you share these common spaces with one other room, people tend to be on different schedules. We hardly ever saw other guests and felt as though we were in an apartment of our own. Walter is a great host. He spent considerable time with us when we arrived to explain everything and answer our many questions. His recommendations were excellent— as were his own freshly-baked croissants that he brought every morning for breakfast. The building is a gem and is in a good location. It is situated between two subway stops, each about a 10-minute walk, and there are also trams and buses serving the area. The apartment itself, designed by Walter, is lovely. It is clear that there was a great deal of attention to detail in the design of the apartment, the choice of fixtures and furnishings and the decorative touches—not to mention the bed linens and towels. We highly recommend Bronzino House and would return in a heartbeat.

First of all I would like to thank Walter for the great hospitality. Me and my wife remember with warm feelings every breakfast in Bronzino house. I think only in Italy you can meet host like this. You really believe that you met an old friend. And about the flat: it is cozy and quiet place that is ideal to relax after a long day in wonderful Milano. Thank you so much Walter! Hope to see you again! Kind regards, Nick and Katarina.

We had a wonderful three night stay in Milan in a beautiful building Bronzino House, surrounded by numerous good restaurants and bars and within easy reach of the centre of Milan. The apartment was first class, very stylishly furnished with all you need to make your stay in Milan extremely comfortable and memorable. The owner Walter was a pleasure to meet, looking after all our needs, assisting with information and directions whenever required, and was a perfect host.

We stayed at the immaculate Bronzino House in Milan for three nights during a visit to Italy in May 2019. Bronzino House is located in the Citta Studi neighbourhood of Milan, four metro stops from the Duomo in a quiet residential area near many very good restaurants and reasonably priced shopping. Bronzino House is a fully and tastefully modernized two bedroom apartment on the upper floor of a century old apartment building built around a courtyard garden. We stayed in one of the generously sized bedrooms (each with its own modern bathroom including rain shower and a great hairdryer) and were served a daily continental breakfast (including fresh croissants and cappuccinos!) by our host Walter (who lives in another apartment in the building). He graciously assisted us with restaurant reservations in the area; guided us on the use of the nearby metros; helped us prioritize our visits to major sites; and arranged a taxi for our return to Milano Centrale train station. On top of all that, Bronzino House is very will priced for a major city. It certainly deserves“ its rating as the #1 B&B in Milan.

A friend and I were looking for a place to stay outside of the center of the city for a short stay (2 nights) in Milan. The Bronzino House B&B had great reviews so we decided to give it a try and we are so glad that we did. The host (Walter) was great in communicating regarding the reservation and I even followed up with him a few times before arrival just to confirm all was ok. We arrived in Milan (Central Station) and took a quick taxi ride to the B&B. Upon arrival, Walter met us in the Courtyard and immediately took us up to the apartment and showed us around. We had taken both bedrooms for the 2 nights, so we had the place to ourselves. Walter patiently anwsered all of our questions about how to get around and gave us recommendations for restaurants in the area. He was very helpful and took his time to help us. The location was great, a few blocks to the metro, which we used to go to the Duomo and other sights. The area surrounding the B&B was safe and clean and we had no problem acclimating to the area. We found the area with lots of shopping and walked around with no issues. We highly recommend this location to stay for a short or long stay. It was very clean and had a great terrace to relax after a long day of sight seeing. We will definitly return to the Bronzino House Milano in the future. Thank you for making our stay great!!

I cannot comment enthusiastically enough - we are delighted! Our room feels like home, quality furnishings and fixtures, beautiful ensuite, quiet and relaxing and spotlessly clean. Our host: a friendly and lovely man Walter who felt like a long time friend. Every morning we had a lovely chat while being spoilt with a great breakfast (croissants, assorted jams, toast, cereals, juice, fruit, Yoghurt and endless Cafe). Walter offered suggestions for dinner/excursions/local events and even booked our taxi to the train station when we were departing. Just book it you will not be disappointed!!!

Walter, the host of Bronzino House has shown great attention to detail in the accommodation he provides. The accommodation consists of two separate bedrooms each with an ensuite. There is a small lounge area, a kitchen and a balcony for guests to share all decorated tastefully with details which gave a warm, comforts-of-home feel. Our room was comfortable and had superb soundproofing. The wi-Fi was fast and we had cable tv in our room. The fine details such as sweets in our room, complementary drinks in the room fridge, quality toiletries and the provision of tea making facilities and a coffee machine added to our comfort. We loved the location which is in a residential area but within walking distance of restaurants and bars and three metro stops from Centrale and the Duomo. The rooms are located on the fourth floor of a secure building with a small but functional lift available. One thing we particularly enjoyed was breakfast as it was a chance to chat to Walter who is a warm and friendly host. Walter also provided gluten free food for my husband. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We (two couples) stayed here in September for three nights, and it was wonderful. A small lift (or the stairs) take you to the beautiful renovated apartment inside a "typically Milanese house." There are two bedrooms (each with an en-suite bathroom … complete with great overhead rain showers … a small kitchen and dining area where as we would find out the following morning, the best homemade croissants on earth are concocted, courtesy of the owner’s (Walter) recipe. Also a great room to share a bottle or two of vino. We were given the lay of the land from Walter's son. It's an easy 12-minute walk to the Lima metro station and another ten minutes to the metro station where you exit across the street from the Duomo. If you plan on metro transportation ... get a metro pass (we got the 48-hour pass at €8.75 apiece). There are plenty of authentic Milanese restaurants within walking distance. We dined twice at a restaurant Walter had recommended ... Osteria La Piola. Fantastic. If on the menu, do not miss the Risotto Pere e Zola (Gorgonzola and Pear Risotto). Heavenly! For comfort, price and hospitality B&B Bronzino House is the perfect choice!!

We had heard varying reports about Milan but we loved our first visit to this fascinating city and Bronzino House is highly recommended too. We enjoyed the location - a v short walk to local bars and good restaurants eg. La Piola on our first night and Ristorante il Delfino on 2nd night (good idea to book)...both were Walter’s recommendations. Walter, the host, is a lovely friendly man and kindly showed us around the B&B as we have an interest in building and architecture (he’s an Architect)...such a quality renovation/fit out with everything you would find in a top end hotel including a delightful 1923 lift - very handy as we had 2 large bags as in Europe for 2 months. This stay was lovely and we would highly recommend it to both individuals, couples and families - there’s a small kitchen and a shared dining space with pleasant/small verandah (see photos). A short walk (about 10 min) to the railway station through a well maintained area - mostly residential, apartments etc...train takes you into central Milan to see the main attractions (I think it was Lima station to San Babila station?) - for window shopping!... in the famous fashion district. Then onto all the famous places including the Piazza Castello (historic castle) etc. Walter recommended an itinerary and we had a wonderful day. Lunch was focaccias at a very popular bakery (Princi)...food delicious everywhere! Breakfast at Bronzino House was very good too. Thanks so much Walter...we hope to return! Christine and Tony
