I was out exploring Milan most of my trip but it was the perfect little hotel to retreat to at night. Nice and clean, with friendly staff. The breakfast included was very simple but that's expected with the low prices.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the central station. The neighbourhood looks rough but it's quiet and safe. The hotel is a well restored old building with a beautiful garden. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the
terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

Sorry I can't help you there - I don't know whether one has to pay for a mini-fridge ... but if you need any drinks (cold or hot), all you need is go to reception and they will get you what you want ... and there was only one flight of stairs that one has to "climb" to get up to the rooms or down to reception - easy!
