We had originally booked a hostel near the Milan Centrale Train station. When we got to Milan there was a email telling us the hostel was overbooked by error and as per the guidelines with hostelbookers they had to give us the same or better quality..All I can say is the room and the bathrooms were very very clean. Guy...

The hotel has two advantages: good price and a perfect location. It is just 50m from the metro station (Porta Venezia), close the the nice shopping street and just behind the corner there is a very good cafeteria/pub/restaurant (Pandenus) with reasonable prices. With just 3 metro stations you are in the city center (Duomo station). Visiting a city like Milan...

Considering the nice location of the hotel and the price per night in a city like Milan, I'd say it's worth for its value. The room is spacious. Staff were ok. Location really easy to reach by public transportation. We stayed in a room for 3, there was a restroom inside our room. Enoug bathroom in the hall. Cons: room...

Upsides: Good location, close to shopping on Corso Buenos Aires, the train station, and a metro stop. Easy to find, affordable, free WiFi, three bathrooms to a hall. Drinks and some food available for purchase at the front desk. Free towels. Elevator. Downsides: Terrible, terrible mattress. Beds are uncomfortably close together. No air conditioning. In between Reppublica and Corso Buenos...

Positives: Staff were pleasant but their English was poor (Chinese/Korean, I guess) Bed was excellent, shower worked. Excellent position 10 minutes' walk from Central Station 2 minutes from C.SO Buenos Aires (main shopping street) Everything else close at hand - internet cafe, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks etc Negatives: Hotel was not clean - room especially so No tea/coffee, hotel/city guide...

Free high speed WiFi and great location (walking distance to either Milano Centralle or Porta Venezia Metro stop) are two main reasons to stay here. Staffs are Chinese who speak good English (women) or at least sufficient English (man). It's also clean and safe enough, at least for me. However, the price is quite high for a 4 beds shared...

The location of this hostel is good, it's some minutes walk from Central train station, the staff is very friendly and nice, I found the price a little high for a 4 beds shared room with shared bathroom and no breakfast. I felt that the bed I slept on was not the cleanest one, and the room was very very...

Big noise you can not avoid, because it's on a main artery, full of cars, busses, trams, trucks. One can't close the windows in the summer because the hotel has no A/C. We are very frugal travelers, want only a decent place to sleep and shower, but this was way under par. Little more than a shack, management seems to...

We only stayed for one night and it was ok for that. The room was small and out to a big street so it was very noisy at night. The bathroom was tiny-one couldn't sit on the toilet without banging one's knees at the sink. The ceiling of the bathroom was completely mouldy and the whole room smelled of it....

the hotel is very well located around the busy areas of milan i.e. corso buenos aires and everything is within walking distance. It is fairly close to milano centrale which makes life just abit easier. the hotel provides the essentials, a bed, bathroom and tv. We werent looking for any luxuries just the simple things.

Thank Judy K

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
