Due to an unexpected flight delay, my partner ended up having to come to Milan for the night, rather than straight to Como, where I was headed the next day. As the room had a double bed, we assumed it would be okay for him to stay the night, and we were more than happy to pay extra for this. We were met by a staff member at concierge with a complete lack of understanding, empathy or at the very least: customer service skills. He point blank refused to let us stay in the room and instead had us wander the streets from 12am, until our train at 6:30am. I wonder if he would have let two young female guests wander the streets in the same manner? I can understand the issue with paying for a singular room and a pre-meditated sneaking a guest in, but due to the situation in hand and the fact it was 12am, the complete lack of care for his guest was shocking. We explored options to stay in neighbouring hostels however due to the time, they were not open to taking in guests. The hotel should really provide some customer service training as this guy kept on repeating “this is a hotel, not hospitality”. Hotels are usually accommodating for problems, especially problems that had been out of control of the customer. Really disappointed in what could have been a lovely stay. On an added note: the hotel cancelled my room the day before travel. They thankfully rectified this but it wasn’t a great first impression. There was also numerous bodily hairs in the bathroom upon arrival and a bad smell of cigarette smoke coming out of the vents.…
This is a cozy little local hotel located in a nice area with easy access to the metro and close to the main train station. The host takes good care of the guests. The hotel appears to be newly renovated, our room was nice and very spacious. Exceptionally clean rooms and hotel. Breakfast included croissants, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and more than you would expect for Italian breakfast. Seating both indoors and outdoors. Affordable price and highly recommended. We would love to come back.
Booked this to be close to most things including Milano Central. About 1km give or take. Easy walking even with large luggage. Rooms were very clean bar some black fungus in the shower wall joints, which can be expected in older motels. Pesky stuff won't go easily. Rest of room was very clean. Floors, walks, furniture and window sills very very clean. Older style accommodation. Breakfast was ok. Some staff were friendly others didn't seem to be fussed. About 4-5 km from most attractions including Duomo di Milano and shopping strip. No coffee or tea making facilities in room. Can get a coffee or tea downstairs at the posted prices. Bar fridge in room with stock of drinks. Plenty of nearby food places. Ok for the price and location. Beds firm. Fresh towels each day and good size bath towels. Beds made each day. Generally very happy with the room.…

Hotel Dore is located in Malenpensa area of Milan. From the Malenpensa airport you take the train to Milan Central Train Station. Then you take the Metro which is the subway to the hotel you get off the stop for Loreto. Then the hotel is about 3 or 4 blocks away. The hotel was very nice. They have single rooms for one person & double rooms for 2. They give you free breakfast which was good. They had croissants, bread, ham&cheese, fruit, coffee, tea. The rooms where nice private bathroom. Make sure you have euros on you because you need to pay for city tax and you can only pay in cash. We stay there 3 nights.
The location is perfect. 150 M from the Loreto metro, which serve 2 metro line. Loreto is 2 stop from Centrale with M2 amd 5 stop from Duomo with M1, and Loreto station has elevator. Breakfast is simple but ok. You can leave your luggage. The hotel has elevator. Hotel close to a lot of good eateries and 24 hours carefour express.
I booked a room at this hotel for one night in march 2019, it was a pleasent stay and a good value for money. The hotel has a very good location, near to Metro station Loreto. The room is quite small, but was ok for me since I was alone, it's clean, quiet (even if at some point I could hear the tourist in the next room), the bed is very comfortable. For me the breakfast was various enough. The only thing I didn't like was the stairs at the entrance, since I had a very large baggage and the fact that I didn't get any help.
I honestly am not sure why the reviews are so positive. I'll start with the good - the rooms are clean, and the breakfast was perfectly edible. The people at the front desk are friendly and lent me a iphone charger because mine had broken, which I did really appreciate. The price is also good. However - the hotel is just not good. I appreciate that the cost is low, but if I had known how poor the hotel actually is, I would have chosen to spend more. My bed was very hard and uncomfortable, I was so cold at night that I slept in a hoody, with socks and leggings under my pajamas, and the walls are so thin that I can hear every word of the TV in the room next to mine as I type this. Also, when the person next to me uses the bathroom - runs water, or the shower, it makes an UNHOLY noise that actually woke me up at 6:30am this morning. I'm surprised that other reviews describe this place as comfortable, because I would not. If you just need a clean bed to stay and the price is right for you, I guess I can see why you'd stay here - but I wanted to leave a review to warn people who could afford to pay a little more in the name of comfort. If you can afford it, don't stay here.…
Very close to Stazione Centrale, clean rooms and friendly staff! They have been very helpful throughout my stay and also by phone when I called them to ask some info. I don't have anything else to add, why is the minimum number 200 characters? lol
