I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Milano Centrale . I was impressed! Our triple room was more than adequate with 3 comfortable twin beds. The bathroom had all the necessary features including a good strong shower. It was clean and quiet. The desk staff were friendly and courteous. The rooftop lounge was nice and had a good vibe. You could enjoy a meal or just a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast ( included in our room price) was great. Lots of good choices. The only downside was the area had limited restaurant choices and seemed to shut down early.
Absolutely fantastic stay at the IQ Milano. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The lady at the beck in desk gave us so many helpful tips of the hidden fens to see and do. The rooms are spotless and modern and have everything you need. Free water in the fridge and a complimentary drink in the roof top terrace bars. The hotel is 30 mins walk to the Duomo or a quick metro ride. As you are slightly away from the centre there are plenty of great priced restaurants nearby. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
We booked this hotel because we were due to catch an early train to Verona, and wanted to be handy for the station. The chap on reception was friendly, and helpful, and the hotel itself is excellent. The room was very good, and there is nothing about which one would complain. The breakfast was good, and the five minute walk ti the station was as easy as we had hoped.
Great little hotel - easy to get off your train from the airport and get to it. Staff very nice and helpful, breakfast had everything you needed - although I'd advise getting there early as once things ran out they weren't really replenished. There were restaurants nearby and it was very easy to get on the underground, tram and train as you'd expect. I'd recommend for a long weekend and would love to go back. Only real negative is that the cleaning staff were rattling round our doors in the morning waking me up. The doors to the rooms didn't seem very sound proof. However, very modern and very clean.
Great location to Milano Centrale train station. Maybe a couple hundred yards. You can easily see the hotel from the station. Not an excellent location for the historical district or the Duomo. But not bad. Just a couple of subway stops away. Price was reasonable for all that was going on in Milan at the time. Room was more than adequate, but not huge. Bathroom was clean. Everything looks new. Bar and breakfast on 6th was very good. Breakfast had more options than anywere we'd been in Italy. Highly recommend the hotel if that's the area where you want to be. Note: the walk from Centrale to the IQ is not comletely pleasant. Homeless are sprawled all through the Centrale Piazza. Sleeping, loitering, and unfortunately urinating everywhere. You'll smell it. There was also a group of skateboarders that seem to own the western most section of the plaza. I'd be hesitant to let my wife or children walk through this plaza alone, especially in the evening. We were never threatened or accosted or pan-handled. But we were always together.…
They saved our lives after we had an issue with our booking at Speronari Suites (the worst hotel of Milan). This hotel is super well located near to Central Station, very near to the cool areas of Milan (Brera, etc.) and walking to the city center. It is all renovated, nice rooms and common areas, all clean, and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Clean, comfortable, good breakfast. There are better parts of town to explore Milan from, but if you need to be close to Centrale station this is a great option. Very helpful reception made my late night check in straightforward. Would certainly stay again if travelling solo or for business, I might look elsewhere if I was looking for a romantic getaway.
Loved our stay at iQ Hotel Milano. Not only it's a short walk from the station, but the hotel was new, modern, and clean. Shower head was amazing...even the toiletries were cool. Staff was very polite and helpful as well. Will definitely be going back the next time we visit Milan!
The hotel's location is great, a 5 minute walk to the central station. The receptionist was very welcoming and kind and extremely helpful with information about the city , it's main attractions and how to get there. We were given a vouture for a free drink to be taken on the hotel's restaurant which was nice. The room was spacious and very clean and the air conditioning was a blessing due to the heavy heat. The breakfast had a variety of food which even a vegan as myself could find something to eat. All in all, we had a good experience and would be happy to highly recommend this hotel.
Would have given a 5 star if we wouldn’t been treated unprofessionally by Parvesh who gave sarcastic remarks on our booking. We booked this trip months ahead and have put down a request to have higher floors as we understand from other reviewers about the train noise on lower floors. We didn’t get what we requested and was given 1st floor next to lift and stairs case. It was terrible just two hours staying in there as you can feel the train vibrations and people walking up the stairs to their rooms. We approached front desk to have a change and also enquired why our request was not looked at. (Which we also understand such request are subject to availability too) Parvesh replied that we have booked it cheap so we can’t get good rooms. And he even remarked that we can’t expect booking econ flights and expect a business class seat. This in uncalled for as we didn’t booked the cheapest room. We booked a bigger double room and went through Agoda which then worked with another hotel vendor that booked it cheap. We have no idea about the cheap booking until the other lady Elena showed us the booking by Sunhotels.com which didn’t even bother to indicate our request for higher floor room. So don’t go through Agoda to book this and then you won’t get such unkind treatment by the front desk. Elena on the other hand was the star of the hotel. If it wasn’t for her, i would probably put a one star. She monitored the situation and was there to stop the unpleasant conversation with Parvesh further. She was also able to give another room immediately but we have to accommodate the first night as the hotels was full. She even went the extra mile to ask the bartender to prepare a dessert for us for our anniversary. We changed to 4th floor and although we can hear the train noise but there was no vibrations so I could sleep very well with ear plugs. Room was nice and clean except for cups that still shows coffees marks etc. Overall, we love to come back as they have a wellness area which we greatly enjoyed after a long day of walking in Milan.…
