2* hotel with 5* memories! This hotel is the perfect little place to base yourselves for a Milan city break. The location is fantastic, just a stones throw from the central station, where you have an array of transport options. We especially found the metro to be particularly useful. (Pay with your contactless card - €2 per journey, capped at €7 per day. Do some research on it, it’s brilliant!) Anyway, back to the hotel… Of course there were a couple of very small improvements and recommendations that we would make: - Take your own hairdryer if you have long hair - No full length mirror - Slightly dark room. Get one at the front of the property if you can - Breakfast is actually an additional option, and is not included as suggested on booking.com. We did raise this with the hotel and they said they would remove it from the description Having said all that, we still gave this property the full 5 stars for the following reasons: - Very modern and stylish hotel. There are decorative golf clubs in the corridor. What’s not to love! - Immaculately clean. Possibly the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in - Rooms were cleaned daily and there was an obvious fresh scent when we returned each day - The staff were brilliant throughout. Especially Alberto, who sorted out our breakfast issue and also gave a full day’s itinerary of places to visit One other thing to mention is that the entrance to the hotel is on the back street, opposite Pianeta Luna restaurant, and it is very small and hidden. Don’t be put off by this! Great value for money, just book it!…
I booked the hotel during fashion week for a colleague and i on booking.com. I paid extra because i wanted to pay upon arrival and not online. We paid our room separately. During check out, the receptionist said that they take the deposit (don't know why) but that they will reimbursed during the day? It has been 15 days, I still didn't receive the money. I contacted them every day, they are still pretending that i will receive it but they are not able to send me any proof of reimbursement. Be careful dear traverlers ... this is the first time that it happens to me in Milan.
We booked this because the location was very close to the train station. We were not disappointed as it is a couple of mins walk. The hotel rooms were very modern and clean. The hotel provided a very good baby cot for us that our wee girl slept very well in. The only reason that the hotel doesn't get 5 stars was that they charged us for arriving late which we thought was a bit unfair.
Plus and minus list: + Good location + Warm service +Nice view + Flexible check-out - Shady entrance - Very intense scent so not for people with smell oversensitivity Overall okay for one night stay but I wouldn’t stay for a longer time.
I stayed in Esco Hotel more than one time and every time it’s amazing. The rooms are perfectly cleaned and the service offered by the owner is amazing. If you are searching an hotel close to the Milan Central Train Station at the right price and with a superior quality Esco Hotel is the right choice.
We stayed 3 nights in Esco Hotel, Milan. Location is very near to the Milan Centrale Station. Many shops, restaurant and Express Carefour just 1 block from the Hotel. Stayed in Esco is very convenient for us. Room is adequate for 3 of us, nice bed and nice breakfast. The only things need to be improved is the wifi, the speed of the wifi a bit slow. The top notch from the hotel is Alberto the owner who is very friendly, nice having conversation with him. He gives a lot of recommendation where to eat around Milano, and he even suggest the nice Gelato shop near the hotel. Well done Alberto, 2 thumbs up for your service 👍🏼👍🏼
Stayed in this hotel after visited Verona & Lake Garda. We chose it because of location to Central Station and recommendations on here. A bit hard to find and needed to use maps on phone. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a guy sitting on the steps drinking his beer but don't let that put you off as once your behind the door you are very safe. Hotel is up the lift and is all on one floor. We were made to feel very welcome by the host and check in was very smooth. Had a lovely big room with great view of the huge station. Bathroom could of done with a bit of an update but it was clean. Beds were very comfortable but unfortunately the noise of the trams kept waking me up all night. We were situated about a 50min walk to the Cathedral and heart of Milan but there are lots of ways to travel around if you'd rather do it that way. Breakfast was minimal but enough. Fresh bread, fruits and homemade cakes. Would stay here again if I visited Milan but I would ask for a room at the back instead even if it didn't have a view. No tea or coffee making facilities in room.…
Me and my friend stayed here for one night in August. It is a small hotel on only one floor, but has everything you may need for a short stay! The included breakfast was simple but perfect, amazing coffee. The room was spacious, had a lovely view of the station and had ideal air con for the hot August weather. What completed our stay here was AUGUSTINO who gave us amazing restaurant recommendations and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. Thank you. I recommend this hotel highly ! Very good price too
I never put 10/10 for any hotel, but Esco hotel deserves a good point. it's 2 stars but it's wonderful for people need to be need the principal train station of Milano. It's just in front of the station in same building of popular bank at the 1st floor. From the window of room 127 you can see the piazza of the station ..... many restaurants around it. the employees in this hotel are adorable (I met 4 people). all are so so kind, so polite and very helpful. the room very clean. the breakfast for 2 stars is good : not a lot of things but a good capuccino, nice fruits and good cakes. They will help you in everything and don't forget to ask them about the good restaurant not so far at all from the hotel = MIscuzi. Metro stations at a step (4 stations to Duomo). Carrefour market not very far. Thanksssssssssssss for you all (you are the best). No minibar in the room, but you can ask them to put you what do you need in their frigo. Wifi very good. you can storage your baggages at the hotel for only few hours. N.B. some reviews mention that it's hard to find the hotel : You should go out from the principal exit of the station, just in from of the exit and little left, there is the building of the popular bank, cross the street to the building, go left of the building and you find the glass door for the hotel : 2minutes from the railway station.…
Price value is very good. Hotel is located in the middle of the city close railway station. People were polite and everything were clean and nice. Metro is very close to site. Breakfast was good enough.
