Conveniently located close to Rail Station. Duomo Piazza is 4 stops/5 mins away by Metro and No.1 tram. A clean and quiet hotel, the staff are friendly and accommodating. I felt safe and comfortable as a solo female traveller. My en-suite room was spacious with a nice terrace. Wonderful buffet breakfast served in a relaxing garden. I would highly recommend this hotel.
I really liked staying in this hotel. It was strategically located between the central station and the Corso Buenos Aires shopping street. The staff at the reception first of all were very friendly and helpful, the room was perfectly clean with brand new furniture. Despite being in the ground floor with a view of a traffic light, our sleep was comfortable and silent: the windows must be sound proofed because only when I opened them in the morning we could all the noise of the street, but nothing if they were closed. Breakfast in the room was just perfect, with croissant of our choice, capuccino, extra nutella, yogurts, fette biscottate and red orange juice. I would actually come back to this hotel if I have to stay in Milan again
The hotel is only a 5/10 minute walk from Stazione Centrale along Via Vitruvio. As for many cities the immediate area of a major railway station is not the most attractive and the hotel doesn’t look much from the outside. The front desk staff are friendly though, especially as I speak no Italian, they were patient and helpful. The common areas and my room were very clean but the room itself is a bit tired, for example the bathroom door looked like it had been water damaged and the bottom of it was held together with sticky tape. Air conditioning worked effectively and I had a lovely little balcony with a view of the courtyard (where breakfast is available). I’d actually stay there again, the location is really handy and the attitude of the staff was first class.
We had to extend our stay in Milan and had to book this hotel at the last minute. We had to pay higher than the normal rate because of it. We needed a budget hotel near Centrale station as we would be leaving early in the morning. Check in was quick, all our details were there as we booked online. We had to pay the tourist tax upfront and were given the old fashioned key to the room. We booked the last available room which was just a few steps up on the ground floor. The advantage was that we did not have to take our luggage up the flights of stairs. The hotel has no lifts and I could see the staff struggling to take up heavy suitcases. The disadvantage is that on the ground floor you can hear the noises from the metro or the trams even early in the morning. This is a three star hotel. Our room was basic but quiet big. We actually had a double bed and a single bed. There was a very small LCD tv attached to a sky box. There was a wardrobe with a small safe. It was all basic suitable for a 3 star hotel. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Our room faced the back of the hotel, we could open the door that would lead out to the small back garden, useful in the summer. We had a small bathroom, it could be a bit of a squeeze. It had a WC, bidet, sink and a shower cubicle which was a little tight. Toiletries included soap, shampoo, body wash and toothbrush and toothpaste. We had breakfast included which you had to go downstairs. It was a basic serve yourself affair. Croissants of different fillings, tea and coffee from a pot. Yoghurts, bread that you can toast. For the price it was ok, cheaper than going to a cafe where you would pay more for a 2 cups of coffee and a croissant. The location was important. You can walk to the train station in about 10 minutes. We needed to get the bus to the airport. You can also get to the underground station. There are several places to eat nearby and you can walk to Corso Buenos Aires in a few minutes. It is a long road with branded stores, fast food and other restaurants. This is a good hotel if you expect nothing fancy, get it cheap and want to be located near the train station. There are 2 star hotels nearby but this one was better.…
Had to opportunity to stay in this hotel for a night. Positives + The location was good. + The room was clean. + We could walk down from Milan Cathedral in 40 minutes time. + Walk to Milano Centrale takes about 7-8 minutes + Hot water for drinking was available from the reception even during early hours. Negatives - I had higher expectations after reading reviews - The room was pretty basic - The bed quality was poor - The hangers in the room were broken are were made with binding wire - Small TV almost at roof level - Air conditioning was switched off - Mosquito problem - No lift in the hotel and have to carry heavy bags to the rooms in the first floor - Breakfast starts only at 7.30 am, but we had to leave by a train at 7.20 am. Hence we skipped the breakfast, even though we had paid for it…
Lucky choice in the last moment, but it turned out to be good one. Room is spacious, good choice of channels on TV. Clean room, no bugs here. The bathroom - as almost always in Italy - bigger than most rooms in other countries (bidet, complimentary shampoos, shower caps). Friendly staff, and 24 hours open desk so you do not have to lock yourself in in late hours like a burglar. Location is great, couple of minutes from Lima metro station, and ca. 20 minutes of slow walk with your luggage from Milan Central Station, where you will probably arrive by bus shuttle. For late dinner there are several touristic, but fairly good and affordable places in Corso Buenos Aires street - where Lima metro station lies. Via Vetruvio is busy street, with tram line, so prepare for city noise. I didn't mind it. I recommend family pastry shop Matria Vailati in the same street (on number 51).…
Room was in tip top condition which offered alot of goodies including a mini toothpaste and toothbrush. The location is excellent, which is just a 5 minute walk from the Milan underground. Breakfast was very limited but still offers the basics including croissants, bread, tea / coffee and more.Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Only stayed for 1 night. Will definitely recommend it for the price.
A small, quiet and clean hotel. Everything functioning properly. Feels like home. Receptionists ready to help in all circumstances. They offered to take up our luggage the few steps to our room. Brought me liquid detergent to remove a big ice cream stain on my jacket and even went out of their way to make breakfast earlier for us on day of departure! Good breakfast. It's located in the centre of a shopping area. We'll definitely stay here again when visiting Milan.
This hotel was what we needed for 2 nights in Milan. It was clean and near the train station, perfect for us. However the wi-fi connection was poor and the breakfast a little disappointing as there was very little choice and ran out very quickly.
We chose this hotel as it is 10 min walk from milano centrale station and we had to do day trip to venice and florence plus we were flying out of Milan so we booked this hotel Please note the hotel DOES NOT HAVE A LIFT. We got to know when we arrived and luckily they allotted a room on the ground floor and we still had to climb few steps up and down to get to the room but it was ok. Decent room with clean bathroom. The breakfast was the same everyday and we were hardly there for the breakfast. If you are flying out of Milano airport, please take the train instead of the buses.I was recommended by one of the locals to opt for train and not bus. Overall, good place to stay if you can climb the stairs with heavy bags
