5 stars on the staff friendliness . Dominico gave us a wonderful welcome to the hotel and the city itself . Unfortunately my room is about 85 degrees and I can't make it cooler nor can we sleep . I wish the facilities was as accommodating as our checking in expierence.

I had a nice 2 night stay at this hotel. The lobby and room were modern and stylish with wooden floors in the large bedroom, comfortable bed, mini bar and desk. There was also a large tv and couch. I didn't get to try the breakfast there but was told there was a charge of 16 euros (if I remember...

Second time stay in this hotel. Simple, correctly priced, good equipped. It is what it is. Breakfast basic but has all necessary. They got room ready before check in, i appreciate it a lot. I would recommend this place.

Sometimes when travelling, we arrive late and leave early. This is the perfect hotel for that. It is one of the new style Marriotts, stripped down in terms of amenities, but very nice. Clean very comfortable room, nice bar downstairs, no food that I could discern. Many, many restaurants closeby although the one the concierge recommended was "gonzo" and loud....

Stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. It's not too central but right next to Garibaldi station and not too far from Central station, so well connected. The hotel is modern with good size rooms. The WiFi worked reliably which is always nice. There was something off with room lighting though, it always felt darker than it should, especially...

Considering the often exorbitant prices of luxury and design hotels in Milan, I've decided to go with the AC Hotels by Marriott for 4 nights. Am disappointed with my worst Marriott service experience. The Pluses - Good proximity to Corso Como and the Garibaldi M2 Metro station, within 5mins walk from the Hotel. The urban/suburban line is located directly at...

This is a modestly priced hotel (for Milan) that is in a convenient place, in my opinion. It is near the train station Porto Garibaldi, which is one of the main train stations in Milan, only two stops from the primary train station - Milan Centrale. The hotel has the expected facilities including a restaurant serving breakfast, which is served...

I was at the Marriott for an extended stay of over one week. For one night, I probably would not have noticed or overlooked many of the issues with this hotel. But, if you are looking to stay a few days or more I would suggest looking elsewhere. Pros: The room itself is large. You can control the thermostat (unlike...

What a fabulous hotel with a great location. Great shower and very clean room thanks in great part to the hard wood floors...so much better than carpet...!!! The check in guys - especially Massimiliano - were so attentive and sweet.... I will def stay here again - close to PORTA Garibaldi station and a short taxi ride from Milano Centrale....!!

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
