I stayed at this hotel with 8 others on a work visit for 12 nights and none of us had any issues. (And that was 8 rooms) After seeing some negative reviews I was worried, but didn’t need to. Room - Not huge by any means, but everything was clean and tidy. There is works outside the hotel to upgrade the subway, but with windows closed you couldn’t hear a thing nor any noise from other rooms. some of the rooms had a small balcony, some just an opening window and one of us had a decent size balcony with outside seating. Staff- none of us had any issues with the staff, they were always polite and friendly especially the lady who served us breakfast. She remembered what each of us drank and we didn’t need to ask again as she just brought it to the tables. Food- Typical European breakfast, pastries, cold meats, bread, yoghurts, cereals and fresh fruits each day (melon pineapple strawberries etc etc) a bacon sandwich would have been nice was it wasn’t the end of the world ! The hotel is around a 15 min taxi ride to the centre of Milan. Which cost about €12 each way or the Lime Scooters / bikes which were all over the city around €10. Front desk called all out taxis when we were going out which made it really easy to get one. Once the subway is complete then it’s be a great way to get into the city. (I don’t honk they’re so far off) Nextdoor to the hotel is a small grocery shop that sold pretty much everything. I tend not to do any reviews on places I’ve stayed, but feel like a positive was needed as initially I’d been put off. If I need to visit the area for work again I’d book this hotel.…
DIRTY bathroom, unwashed sheets full of hair. Reception staff rude. They told me it was my fault that it was full of man black hair, even if I’m blonde…Nightmare. They were laughing at my face when I asked for solution..
This is our first visit to Milan. Very comfortable, clean hotel. Hospitable staff. The hotel is located 20 minutes from the main train station, many shops around, convenient to the city center. Highly recommend
A very convenient hotel if you have business in this area. It’s not new but it’s clean. Rooms are functional, WiFi is ok, breakfast also. Nothing fancy, meeting all the basic needs you might need for a short stay.
Visited for a couple of nights. This is a simple basic hotel, however the rooms are functional, well kept, clean and the staff friendly and helpful. There are complementary bottles of water in the room and also biscuits. There is a small bar area downstairs with a tv where they prepare drinks and provide plenty of bar snacks. There is a good breakfast available with freshly squeezed orange juice served to your table.
The campus of the Politecnico is only 15 minutes walk from the hotel Suza. The personnel is professional and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the hotel breakfast especially with the freshly squeezed orange juice.
Hotel Susa was good for a business trip. It worked very well as a hub just outside the centre of Milan with good eating options nearby. There was also very convenient parking just across the road. I am not sure how this would be for a holiday because it is quite basic and a bit far from the centre of town, but a good option on a budget.
The prices of downtown hotels drove us a bit out of the center of the city, but it turn out to be a bonus. The surrounding area is quiet, but still has good restaurants, cafes, etc., without the hectics of the city center. Good rooms, friendly staff, small frillls, supermarket next door, suburban trains 8 min walk away (will be even better in 2021 when metro no 4 will have a stop nearby).
The hotel is very good , service and breakfast are nice , staff at front desk are very helpful, a bit compliment to the Filipinos waitresses , they are nice and helpful. Wifi is good , hotel close to the city and linate airport. Recommended 100 % if you are looking to stay in Milan.
Before I retired, my employer encouraged its business travelers to stay at Club Quarters in major cities. The rooms were small and clean, service was low touch and the rates were low. I chose this hotel because of its good ratings on TripAdvisor and its proximity to Linate Airport. The hotel is very low touch when it comes to service. You find a place to park your car somewhere nearby on the street. You drag your own bags through the front door and up a few steps to the front desk. The person at the front desk was friendly and spoke English well. We got our key and dragged our bags to the room. The room was small and furnished with IKEA type furniture in new condition. The bathroom was actually quite nice. The room was quiet and comfortable but hot. The thermostat could not be lowered below 24 C. I asked at the front desk about the thermostat and was assured that the right combination of adjustments would fix the problem. However, the recommended steps did not work. We decided to live with it. Breakfast was above average for a small hotel and was included in the room rate. The neighborhood was lively in the evening and we felt safe as we strolled through it. There were lots of stores, cafes and restaurants nearby. For someone travelling alone, without a car, with business in the neighborhood or a morning flight from Linate this would be a good choice. Just do not expect much service.…
