What a beautiful house decorated with real style. The rooms are huge and well furnished. The location superb and the views amazing. Breakfast in a gorgeous kitchen with fresh baguettes, croissants, cheeses, cold meats and real coffee. Honfleur is only a few minutes away with all the restaurants you need. Enjoy a good walk in the fields filled with horses...

If you're looking for a unique experience while in Normandy, book a room at this "bed and breakfast" chateau. We have rented many places in France and this is one of the best. It is like living in your own private chateau for the time you spend. The large chateau contains only four guest rooms, and they are spectacularly large....

We were looking to stay at Deauville over the Easter break but all the hotels were fully booked or very expensive. We finally found this charming Chateau, only 30minutes away from Deauville and were delighted by our choice! The rooms are impeccable, bathrooms are modern with all amenities you would need and the owner, George and his wife are great...

We have just returned from a most wonderful week in this sensational chateau. We have rented vacation homes across the globe; this was certainly one of our best rentals ever. St Maclou is as comfortable as it is beautiful, and caretaker Martine ensures continued comfort with her daily visits. The chateau is well-located for Normandy sightseeing, and the nearby villages...

We stayed two nights at the Chateau which has been beautifully restored. You actually get a feel for life when this fabulous chateau was occupied by French aristrocrats. It is close to Honfleur and we even went to Caen for the day, only 40 minutes. The rooms are exceptionally large with lovely beds and great bathrooms with robes and amenities....

The Chateau is an exquisitely beautiful property standing in it's own park, a short distance from the historic old town of Honfleur and within easy reach of Deauville and the ferry ports at Le Havre and Caen. My wife and I booked a room for three nights as part of our honeymoon and this fairy tale setting and the huge...

Situated at a comfortable distance from Honfleur and Deauville, this historical chateau offers great comfort and a wonderful experience of the way the French aristocracy lived (and lives). The place is secluded, charming and truly romantic. The owners are British and very friendly, so don't worry about linguistic problems. Breakfast is very good and served at any time you wish....

This is the sort of place you would selfishly like to keep secret. It encapsulates all the possible charm of a beautifully restored and maintained chateau set in the lush Normandy countryside, complete with vistas of horses frolicking in adjacent tree lined paddocks. Such is the tranquility and beauty that it takes only moments to feel very, very relaxed. We...

You expect always a little bit of a feeling of dislocation (unless of course you already live in a château!) as well as a degree of self-consciousness when landing in a place of past splendour and grandeur but not the case here, thanks to a really cozy feeling that permeates once you step inside. It's more "bon chic bon genre"...

We stayed the night at the Chateau de Saint Maclou la Campagne in August for 1 night on route from Cognac to Calais. The drive up to the chateau is breathtaking. The owner wasn't in residence but his house-keeper greeted us along with another couple and showed us to our room. The owner generously upgraded us to a room on...
