A family of 5 we stayed here for 5 nights. There is a lovely swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds/sunchairs and a small pool bar for drinks and ice cream. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty with great coffee and juices - overseen by attentive waiters. The hotel is well located just above the town (only a few minutes walk) with some stunning views over the island and the lake. The rooms are traditional and comfortable. The hotel is run by a family and even their calm and gentle dog potters around reception. This is a well run typically Italian hotel in a great location with such pretty views. Recommended.

Nice room (with little too hard bed for
our taste), very nice view from the balcony facing the lake.
Helpful staff (and a very cute hotel
dog!)
Pool was big enough, with basic pool
service (Beer, drinks, ice cream and pool towels).

Great location just minutes from the town, quite steep hills so you get a free workout going up and down.

If you visit by car make sure to take a drive around the lake, very nice!

Our well-equipped room had a wonderful view from a small but adequate balcony. The meal service on the terrace was worthy of a five star establishment and the food itself was delicious, inventive and carefully portioned. The drinks were a bit pricey but the choice was comprehensive.
We didn't use the pool due to bad weather, but it appeared well cared for.
The staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and very knowledgeable. All in all a very pleasant peaceful break from city life.

Highly recommend staying here! The view is absolutely amazing. There is an amazing terrace for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Breakfast is a buffet with plenty for all!
We had dinner one night, the food was also very good!
The service in the hotel is also amazing! Staff are polite, friendly, and always smiling!
The pool is clean too, sunbeds all around, and even a little bar at the pool to enjoy a beer, proseco, cocktail or just an ice cream! There is a separate paddling pool for kids too.
We had a very comfy and super clean room with a pool and lake view. Air con worked perfectly well.
The hotel is super clean wherever you go!
The walk down the center is lovely, cobble roads, pedestrian only. And a lovely walk around the lake!
There are couple “beaches” on the lake but otherwise you can easily take your beach bag and jump off any of the pontoons !

This hotel is situated slightly north of the center, an easy and picturesque walk. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The view from our room was quite stunning, overlooking the lake and island. We were there in October so the pool was closed. Unfortunately the AC was also shut down for the season, even though it was still quite hot. We had to sleep with the window open and the neighborhood dogs all barked for a long time during the night so we did not get a good night sleep. Overall would recommend, must be awesome in the summer when the pool is open!

Simple yet pleasant family run hotel with lovely views over the lake. A manageable uphill walk from the town but make sure you've got good tread on your shoes if it's raining. Slippery cobbles in places. Breakfast was good and adequate, we didn't have dinner in the hotel though

Nice hotel, Rooma are clean, nice location. Breakfast should be much better. Nothing fresh items, fruitsallad is from the can. No tomatoes etc.
Pool area could have been cleaner but poolboy practically did not do anything else but smoking.

Great location and friendly hotel. Five minute walk down the hill to town, plenty of parking, air conditioned, quiet. The picture on most web sites is old and does not show the spanking new wing above the terrace. Light airy normal sized room, good towels, TV, CNN, mini bar, safe & phone. Oct ’06 Room 114, shower only, but balcony, Island and Lake view 120 € with minimal (e.g. no eggs and the same pimento-olive cold cut selection every day) buffet breakfast. Reserved directly with hotel via e-mail. There are old hotels in town, which we usually prefer, but we wanted the balcony, which is hard to get. We talked with another couple that had to take half-pension to get a terrasse room downtown and were unhappy with the meal. We recommend Taverna Antico Agnello, for dinner, a decent 12 € bottle of Pino Grigio made a 50 € meal.
Wednesday is market day in town. There are only two Internet spots in town both 4 € for 5 minutes, a rip-off so we used dial-up in the room.

Stayed for two nights with some friends in this very nice Hotel with a great location.

The Parking facilities are no good, - On a steep sideways slope and under trees. Bird droppings etc. left the cars a mess after just one day. Also you have a very high risk of getting dents or paint damage to the left side of you car. Why? because of the incline, the right side door/s) almost "free falls" when opend. We were lucky and escaped unscathed, , but I witnessed one such incident from the balcony of our room.

Rest of the Hotel was above average, views are amazing, but they really should do more to protect the cars of their guests..

Yes, I think it will fairly easy to find if you have good directions. The roads are very narrow like many towns in Europe but it is a very small place. The innkeepers are gracious and helpful and will give you good navigating and parking instruction.
