Visited the hotel as part of a skiing trip in early January. Staff were friendly, spoke excellent English and had a good knowledge of the local area. The room itself was spacious, clean and modern. The bar was also nice, fitting in well with the Alpine atmosphere (would highly recommend trying the local beer). Breakfast was also excellent. Location was...

Just returned from our second stay at the Hotel Berthod. Our family is 2 adults, 3 children (8, 6 and 4). We have become huge fans of this hotel - and this is because of the quality of welcome and service provided by the Family which runs it. (It's becoming clear that, perhaps more than any other type of holiday,...

A great hotel within walking distance to everything. Main street is only one minute away, and you will make it to the gondola in about seven minutes. The bus station, in case you want to go to Punta Helbronner or La Thuile, is a five minute walk away. We stayed in the annex, and the room was very spacious and...

Booked for a short ski break, all the staff at Hotel Berthod were really friendly. Amazing breakfast buffet and a lovely room. Great location for the town centre and about a 15 minute walk (in ski boots) to the lift up the mountain.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days for our skiing holiday. Apart from being very good value for money, staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean with all the basic facilities one needs, but I was surprised to find that they don't provide any kettle in the room. Another funny thing is they don't have...

The nicest Family run hotel you could wish to stay. We stayed for the second time and hope to return next winter again. You feel taken care of here. Perfect breakfast, afternoon tea and sauna facilities. Clean, comfortable room with complimentary toiletries. Bedding and bath towels changed regularly. Top!

I have just come home after a weeks stay at the Berthod. This was my second stay at the hotel after a fantastic trip last year... the return visit did not disappoint... The staff are brilliant, we (myself and brother in law) were remembered from the last visit upon arrival with smiles and open arms from the staff.. We arrived...

We stayed for a night while hiking TMB. Hotel is within minutes of the trail so you don't have to walk further. It is spotlessly clean and we appreciated that it was off the main street in town but only 30 seconds away. Service is friendly. The place is quiet. The breakfast was a huge surprise. They had so much...

The hotel staff were absolutely faultless in there attempts to make your stay a good one. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and fantastic views if you book a premium one. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. There is also an underground car park which is great for keeping the bike safe....
