Ignore the fact this hotel is two star. The rooms are smart, the bathroom excellent, the location brilliant and the service is five star plus.There is no lift (which presumably contributes to the two star rating), but staff willingly deal with luggage.

The hotel can arrange a private driver for you. May cost a bit more but personally I don't like taking risks with airport trips. They arranged transportation for us from the airport to Padova and then to Verona a few days... More
The hotel can arrange a private driver for you. May cost a bit more but personally I don't like taking risks with airport trips. They arranged transportation for us from the airport to Padova and then to Verona a few days later and everything was smooth and efficient.
It took less than an hour to get from Venice to Padova, and that was mid morning.
