Best location in Venice for the price. Definitely more of a dorm/hostel type of hotel, but it's decent enough. Beds weren't the most comfortable, but we were only there for one night and it wasn't a bother. Internet is weak everywhere so don't expect to...More
Stayed in this hostel for three nights, and it was perfect for our time in Venice! The location is 5-10 minutes away from the train station, which was perfect for us. You can easily get to other main areas like Rialto very easily walking, and...More
Good budget lodging near the cruise port and train. Hostel is very old like most of Venice but rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. There were several restaurants close by. Staff spoke good English and we're very helpful.

Italy > Veneto > Province of Venice > City of Venice > Venice > San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
