The Rosa Salva is located on a very quiet street away from the touristy areas. But the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Rialto and Grand Canal. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The pastry shop connected to the hotel has delicious selections, and it was a treat to have breakfast with a wide selection of pastries. We will definitely stay at the Rosa Salva again.
We had a fantastic start at Rosa Salva. The room was well appointed, modern, cozy (but not small), and a minute’s walk from St Mark’s square. The bakery on the first floor makes delicious sandwiches and pastries, making for a great start to the day.
The room was very clean, bathroom modern and marvelous with a walk in curb-less shower. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The room itself is tight but other than that there is no negatives. The safe is the nicest one I have ever used. Everything in the mini fridge is complimentary. There is a Nespresso machine in the room. Even thought the hotel is just off St Mark’s Square, it was very quiet. It was hot when we were there and the ac worked great. We would definitely go back here because it is also very reasonably priced. I saw one review that commented on the lack electric sockets but there were multiple electrical sockets on both sides of the bed, including USB sockets, and also in the bathroom. Great place to stay.
The Rosa Salva is a small family owned property that is nestled away on a quiet street that is only a few steps away from the main tourist attractions in Venice. I had a short visit with only time for one night. After reading reviews and seeing pictures I decided to book this hotel. I was not disappointed. Although my room was small, it is more aptly described as cozy - given the size of typical habitations in Italy. I found the staff incredibly helpful and accommodating. I would choose it again on future visits.
Stayed here for 2 nights from 24th Sept with my mum. This was our third time booking the hotel as we had to cancel the previous times due to covid restrictions. It was absolutely worth the wait. The hotel is very easy to get to from the San Marco Alilaguna stop. It is located very close to St Mark's Square but the street is not overly crowded or noisy. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. We booked a comfort double room in the main hotel building and had ample space for luggage and moving around the room easily. The bed was spacious and comfortable. We found the duvet cover to be slightly on the thin side so were abit cold at night. The heating also wasn't on but it wasn't too cold with the air con off. We had a nice view of the street at the front of the hotel. It could be abit noisy on the street at night but not too late. The TV did not have English channels but did have the netflix function. We had a mini fridge with complimentary water, yogurts and pineapple juice and tea and coffee making facilities. We also had a safe. The bathroom was spacious too but the position of the toilet facing the bidet was uncomfortable. Would not be great for tall people. The shower was huge and had great water pressure. They provided us with complimentary Toiletries also including shampoo, body lotion, soap and shower caps. The lack of electric sockets was also an issue. None beside the bed and only one under the TV and one by the door. As the hotel is no longer doing breakfast since covid, we were given a discount on the pastries and other food provided in the bakery downstairs. The hotel was great overall - easy access to rooms via lift and stairs and very clean. The location is unbeatable - very safe and close to St Mark's Square.…
We just stayed at the Rosa Salva. We were put in the Rosa Salva Suites (annex) behind the hotel but it turned out to be marvelous. The room was huge as was the bathroom even for US standards but especially for European standards. Service was fine although we did not require much assistance. The bakery attached to the hotel is wonderful as are their pastries at breakfast. It's about a 5 minute walk or less to the Rialto bridge public water taxi dock which gets you to and from the train station quite easily. I would highly recommend this hotel! The back rooms where we stayed were extremely quiet.
I booked a surprise birhday trip for my wife at Rosa Salva hotel which is situated close to Piazza San Marco in the heart of Venice. The hotel is absolutely perfect, it is a very modern with a great patisserie. Our room was very clean and comfortable with daily room service. The staff are absolutely amazing very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the high standards it was an unforgettable stay and a pleasure.
The Rosa Salva Hotel location was perfect. Very close to St. Mark's square and all the activity, but on a quiet block just a 3-4 minute walk away. The bakery in the hotel was in our opinion the best in Venice. Staff was attentive and helpful with us in planning our activities. They were very helpful in arranging our transportation to the hotel as this was our first trip to Venice. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to Venice. Would advise to anyone with mobility issues, there is a lift but 2nd floor rooms had steps you had to negotiate (no problem, just for informational purposes).
Couldn't have picked a better hotel, great room, perfect location, excellent service. Will hopefully return. Inbound transfer arranged through the hotel was also a highlight. Just a short stroll to the Piazza Venezia.
We had a perfect stay in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was so spacious, clean and perfectly situation. Cannot fault this wonderful hotel with the most helpful staff who are happy to provide help at any time of the day. Loved it!
