Hospitality - this hotel exemplifies the word to the max! The location is very central and convenient for access to the most popular attractions in Venice. You are warmly welcomed upon arrival, and the staff are all very quick to help in any way they can. The 24 hour concierge is most convenient. Our room was wonderful - comfortable, well equipped and very clean. (However, we would have really appreciated a little table and chairs- we were in the "family suite" room, and had to makeshift an area to sit and eat.) There is a minifridge with juices, water and yogurt, as well as a coffee maker and a tea kettle. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had every convenience. Not sure why the actual designated common breakfast room is no longer in use, but it was still nice to have access to the room for an afternoon snack break..which might include something wonderful from... The hotel is side by side with its namesake bakery, which is beyond fantastic! The long standing history of the company speaks for why it is still very popular with locals and tourists alike - try the chocolate croissants - incomparable! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this delightful boutique hotel - it checks all the important boxes! Grazie mille!

Hotel's Favourite
All staff were friendly and helpful. Location was central and super convenient, yet very quiet without noises. Room (we took a appartment) were spacious for family of 4. Fridge were always filled with free water/juice/yogurt. Little kitchen and dining area were perfect for easy meals. A bar around the corner was perfect for breakfast. All in all, perfect place for a few days in Venezia!

Rosa Salva is without a doubt one of the best and cleanest hotels in Venice. We stayed in a room with an annex room for our honeymoon for 4 nights. The location CANNOT be more central and amazing ! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every second of it !

We stayed here in September for 3 nights and the hotel & staff couldn't have been nicer! The room was lovely, clean, modern, spacious & the bed was very comfortable. The mini fridge was stocked daily & free to use which was a really nice touch - much appreciated after a long day of exploring. Staff were so friendly & kind, giving lots of advice on anything we had to ask about Venice. The location was amazing, quiet and only 5/10 minute walk from the main attractions. Lots of restaurants & gift shops near by. Lovely stay - thank you Rosa Salva!! x

What a great hotel. Right in the middle of everything going on but tools are quiet at night and very boutique. Staff couldn’t be friendlier and room have everything you need with a complimentary mini bar with soft drinks. We love this place and would recommend.

First off, the location was great. A short walk from the Rialto water bus stop, and a two or three minute walk from St. Marks Square. The coffee and dessert shop adjoining the hotel gets crowded, but a side room dedicated to hotel guests always provides a place to enjoy what was bought there or at nearby places. And even being that near the square, the area is very quiet, with plenty of food options nearby. Should I ever return to Venice, I will undoubtedly stay here again.

We stayed at Rosa Salva for one night following a 10 night cruise. It was easy to get to from the Rialto stop, which says a lot given our overall exhaustion after 2 weeks abroad. (Caveat: we’ve been to Venice before, nothing was easy our first trip.) Checking was quick, loved that they had an elevator, we were on the 3rd floor. Room was very welcoming, loved the wooden beams on the ceiling, good sized bathroom with spacious shower and good water pressure. Clean. No breakfast, but food/minibar was included plus a 10% card at their Pasticceria. It was the best chocolate croissant! There was noise from the street early in the evening but was quiet by 10pm. The bed was soft by European standards but firmer than our bed at home in the US. (Not sure if that’s helpful.) The also arranged for our water taxi the next morning to the airport. (Heads up, it’s cash only.) It was inconvenient to not be able pay by card, but was worth it to head to the taxi stand with a specific Taxi number already known and who knew us immediately upon arrival. Yes, it’s expensive, but it saved an hour off of travel time plus additional padding due to the unknowns of how quickly we’d be able to find/ get on public transportation. We had to wait through three Valparettos (so?) at the train station upon arrival.

Excellent location! Near St Marks Square, water taxis, too many restaurants to count, shopping, and a grocery store. Easy walkable distance to museums, gondolas and of course the famous Rialto bridge. The staff is so friendly and very helpful. Options of single rooms or two bedroom apartments with kitchen & rooftop patio. Perfect for warm evenings & wine! I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We stayed here in August at the start of our Italian travels and back again in September. The welcome each time was perfect and whilst all the staff were pleasant and helpful, Nicola went out of his way to provide excellent service, advice and first rate customer care. He arranged porters, a water taxi from the station and helped us on our last day with travel arrangements. We had a suit behind the main hotel, which was spotless, bed made and towels changed, with drinks replenished as needed, a kettle (rare in many Italian hotels) and good air-conditioning. It was perfect for us since the room was cool but not an icebox as some visitors seem to require. We had breakfast in the coffee shop - staff extremely busy but still pleasant and the range of pastries were the best we found on the holiday. The discount as as guest was a nice touch. Once again, thanks to Nicola for all his help and generosity of time.

Very happy with this property. Wonderful helpful staff and a nice modern room. Close to the water taxies etc and St Marks square. Very nice cafe below as well. A great stay in an area that seemed to have a lot of older hotels.
