This small and charming first class inn, just restored, is situated in the heart of Venice historic core, two steps from Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from St. Mark’s square, on the picturesque Venetian canal. The Santi Apostoli Neighborhood offers a great variety of restaurants and eateries to enjoy the original Venetian cuisine. Exciting shopping opportunities also await in the vicinity. Our rooms are furnished with care and each room is different from the others. They all have original ceiling beams, perfectly restored.
This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Location, quiet, lovely canal view, breakfast plus coffee and tea all day available. Very down to earth and thoughtful staff. The single room is small but doable since it was mostly for sleep..too much to see and do in Venice to be inside. This is more of a bed and breakfast. They let me keep my luggage after check out until I was ready to leave Venice.

A lovely quaint hotel with only a few rooms. A plus side is that it is away from the busy tourist area. Situated by the canal it is possible to sit out at breakfast and watch the boats go by. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff lovely and very helpful. Croissants the best. Will definitely be staying here again.

We had originally booked a room on a yacht for the night in Venice, but I got a phone call/email 5 days before we were to be in Venice saying that the yacht had overbooked and were cancelling our reservation. I was upset, but nothing I could do about it. The yacht offered Alla Vite Dorata as an alternative for the night. We booked and stayed there, and we are so glad that we did. Great location away from the crowds and beautiful waterway right out the front door and the morning eating area. We were lucky enough to grab the only table outdoors to enjoy a very nice breakfast with an amazing view. We loved our stay in Venice at Alla Vite Dorata.

Our stay at Alla Vite Dorata was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located in a quiet residential street, short walking distance from Ponte Rialto and other major attractions with fine restaurants, espresso bars and gelaterias near by., as well as two vaporetto stops, Ca d'Oro (Grand Canal line) and Fondamente Nove (Murano/Burano line). We stayed in an elegant, bright "red room" overlooking canal that made our Venetian experience so enjoyable. We also had a chance to start our day as a Venetians by having a delicious continental breakfast while sipping cappuccino on a balcony overlooking canal. Free Wi-Fi worked perfectly in our room. Thank you Aleksandra for your hospitality and we will definitely come back!

Stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. All of the staff were so friendly and loved that the breakfast ladies remembered my coffee order each day. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of lanes to get lost wandering down... you'll discover the best restaurants this way, don't eat at any on the main streets. Found Venue to be a very walkable place, but I love getting around on foot. Walked to the Venice Biennale and back, which is on the other side of the island. Only used the water taxi to get on and off the island. Was recommended this hotel by friends who were also recommended it. Would be back!

Loved our 3 day stay at the Alla Vite Dorata. Located by a small canal away from the tourist masses, a simple 5 minutes walk from Ft Nuove Alilaguna stop. We had a lovely double room with canal view, room was quite cool without AC even in the 32c heat. But if you like it cooler the AC is available. Great Italian style breakfast provided, with tea, coffee, juices, pastries, bread, cheeses, meats and cakes. There is 1 table on the balcony overlooking the canal which we had 1 day, 1st come basis. 10 minutes walk to Rialto, 15-20 to st marks. 5 minutes walk to the busy main street in cannaregio. Plenty of restaurant and bar options within a few minutes walk, and Co-op supermarket 1 Minute away. We arrived at 10am on early flight from UK and staff were happy to look after…

We stayed here for three nights and were happy we did. The hotel was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The little breakfast nook sitting out on one of Venice's canals is a perfect way to begin you're day in this beautiful city. We highly recommend Alla Vite Dorata.

Located on a quite residential street, backed by a small canal, only a few blocks from a main drag of tourist center, this small hotel offers convenience as well as comfort. But most importantly, with a balcony over a small canal, it gives its guests an authentic Venetian experience. The quite canal is bustling with unique Venetian sight and sought: neighbors drawing up their blinds, watering plants outside the window, boats bringing in merchandise supplies. These delicate Venetian life details are often drown by the intense tourist activities at Piazza San Marco, Ponte Rialto and other major attractions. The facility is clean, comfortable and modestly stylish. The breakfast is sumptuous and best to be had at the outdoor nook if the weather permits

Alla Vite Dorata is on a quite street away from the tourist crowds. We stayed Saturday through Tuesday morning and the weekend was particularly quite in the area which was really nice. The hotel is a five minute walk (with easy to follow directions from the hotel's website) from the Ca d'Oro vaparetto stop which you can take from the train station. It's also a five minute walk from the Fondamente Nove vaparetto stop which gets you to Murano. Our room was small but big enough for the two of us. The bathroom had a good stall shower which we prefer. Wifi was strong. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection of cereal, delicious croissants and cappuccinos, fruit, yogurt, meat, and cheese. There is even one table that overlooks the canal if you are lucky enough to snag it. We…

We stayed at the Alla Vite Dorata for our Honeymoon weekend in Venice. Before we left we asked for the best directions for the hotel, we were advised to take the Alilaguna (Blue Line) to Fondamenta Nuove which was the second stop (41 mins travel time). We got off the boat and followed the instructions left by the hotel and they were spot on and before we knew it we were at the hotel. We arrived early compared to check-in time but the hotel staff were more than happy for us to leave our bags and explore and come back later to check in to our room. When we arrived back several hours later or bags had been moved to our room and the AC turned on making the room very pleasant. Due to our early flight we slept long, the bed was comfortable and no noise was heard from any other room…
