We were booked into the hotel's sister hotel but they upgraded us into the main hotel on arrival. And it was a treat indeed. Superb location fronting the canal, a stone's throw from St Marks Sq., right next to the vaporetto stop and opposite Harry's Bar! Lovely room in a quiet location. Good sized room and bathroom with all we...

We booked in the UK with Thomson as a Lakes & Mountains 4 day add on. We were met after our taxi ride from Verona with a fantastic guide (Gianni) who took us to the door of the hotel by private water taxi - the only way to arrive! We were greeted by friendly reception staff and shown to room...

It's not easy finding the perfect hotel in Venice buy we sure came close. The Monaco is extremely well located and is extremely comfortable. It is not overly fancy or lavish but has just the right feel of a very nice hotel. The concierge from the point of reservation was very helpful in arranging for private transfer to the hotel...

We recently spent two nights at the Grand Canal with a group of eight before heading out on a cruise. The location is perfect, right on the Grand Canal- water taxi delivers you directly to the entrance. All of the popular tourist attractions are easily walkable. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Air Conditioning works great. The best asset of...

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting, dinner was superb with an unforgettable view. Next door to the famous Harry's bar, around the corner from the square, designer shops and gondolas. True Venice, a tad expensive but a once in a lifetime experience. Definitely recommend.

Stayed two nights and enjoyed the fabulous location right on the Grand Canal, one minute walk to San Marco, and two steps from a vaporetto stop. However, be prepared to pay dearly for these privileges! The first room we were shown was the worst we've see in a very long time. We were accommodated with a second room, which was...

The Monaco added an adjunct residence an alley away, the Palazzo Selvadego. It's all been redone recently and the room, while small and with a courtyard view, was beautifully appointed with elegant builtins and a lovely bath. Lots of plugs for the devices and a heated towel rack for the little laundry tasks. Good Wi-Fi. Breakfast is on the Grand...
