My family of 4 stayed here in a studio balcony--queen upstairs with bath and single bunk beds down with another bath. Private entrance and easy access to St Peter's square. Decent breakfast included and very helpful staff. We would definitely do it again.
Excellent. This hotel is in a great location and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was great. Yes you do pay slightly more than other hotels but bearing in mind how close you are to the centre and the...More
Our family of four stayed at Bisanzio earlier this week and we really enjoyed our stay there! It's just steps away from the Metropole water taxi dock and 5-10 minutes walk to St. Mark's Square. We got the suite with the separate master bedroom with...More
A great location in Venice to walk anywhere and a very good value. The front desk staff were simply amazing - they loved their jobs and were only too kind to provide exceptional service. Breakfast was okay, with service staff hit and miss. Bathroom was...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

I'm fairly certain the parking is close to the water bus terminal but you might need to drop people with luggage off at the ferry terminal and then go back to park the car. From the ferry terminal, there is a short walk from the parking/bus drop point to ferry itself. Straight, flat but a few kerbs. Once on the ferry and getting off at the Bizanzio stop, you are meters away from the hotel. Again very flat and no kerbs. Make sure you don't miss the alley way though as it is easy to walk past. It is literally almost opposite the water bus terminus. But like the others say, I'd double check with the hotel. They're v good and do speak English.
