Our room 203 was beautiful with Balcony overlooking the canal and able to watch the gondolas glide past.
What a lovely authentic place, we loved staying here and so central to everything. The rooms are clean, small but nice. We loved the chocolate on the pillow when we came back after our evening meal. The breakfast was lovely and just what you needed....More
My husband and I ended our 11 day Italy trip in Venice for a 3 night stay. I booked this hotel based on the TA reviews. I am so happy to have chosen this quaint hotel.

Excellent staff and service. Great location for first time Venexia visitors. Having a boat dock great for taxi service. Would have been 5 stars but our room was so tiny you had to go into well sized bathroom to change your mind. Also we were...More
We only stayed one night here during our less-than 24-hour stay in Venice, but don't have anything bad to say about the place (except for the breakfast--the pastries were dry and tasted store bought, and the eggs and bacon were not good)...but the hotel is...More

The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
I can't recall whether the main hotel has an elevator or not. You'll need to check with them. If you're located in the annexe next door to the hotel then, no it doesn't. The stairs are quite steep and you need to be fit... More

The hotel is on an island in Venice, which means it can be reached door-to-door only by a water taxi from the airport. You can take a regular taxi or bus from the airport to Piazzale Roma, and trnsfer there to a water bus (i.e., vaporetto) or again take a taxi. Most of those taxis will bring you to San Marco, and from there it's under 5 minutes of walking to the hotel. Go under the big clock, turn right, go towards the end of that street, turn left onto a small alley, take the first right off the alley, cross the small bridge, and you'll arrive at the hotel on your right.
