Right outside the hotel is the perfect picture of Venice with the water streets. It’s so easy to find AND is only a five minute walk from San Marcos center. You are also so close to all the other attractions so it’s easy to find things. The breakfast at the hotel was great, exactly what you’d expect. The rooms had great AC and were perfect for every need. Most of all, the service is amazing!! I’ve never seen more kind and smiley workers and receptionists there. They spoke multiple languages and were always so accommodating to me and my family. One even offered to help carry my son in his stroller up the stairs because my hands were full with our bags. Definitely going to return there when I come to Venice again. If you go with family or not, stay here!!
This is the perfect hotel to ground your stay in Venice. My family and I spent over a week at Casa Verardo, an elegant hotel on a quiet side lane. It felt like a home away from home. The hotel itself is charming, the location very central to Piazza San Marco and close to the water taxis, but it is the staff that sets this hotel apart. We had the sense that they enjoy working together as a team, delighting in our adventures, and working to ensure that our trip was comfortable, memorable and filled with beautiful Venetian adventures.
The staff were fabulous. Very accommodating and happy to help/chat. The hotel is beautiful, elegant and stylish. Our check-in was hassle-free even though we arrived past 1 am. When we got to the hotel door, it was locked (for safety), so we rang the hotel, which promptly answered, opened the door and completed a swift check-in. The room was stylish and spotless, it is small, but you expect that in Venice (it is a place to visit, not stay in your room). The bathroom was petite but modern, and the shower was lovely. The shower room door is glass opaque; it didn't matter to us but may to others. The hotel is so elegant, there is a small courtyard that you can sit in after your visits around Venice. Check-out was also easy. The staff even allowed us to leave our backpacks whilst we visited Dodge's Palace. The location of this hotel was perfect. 6min walk from St Marks but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a morning tour, then return to the hotel for a freshen-up before returning in the afternoon or evening. We had breakfast included which is served from 7:30-10. We were the first ones to eat there both days in order to beat the crowd for tours etc. The breakfast was self-service and delightful. Our room was two doors off the breakfast hall- we have never had so few steps to get breakfast! :) A/C in the room was super good, left at a lovely 20 degrees the room was perfectly cool when we came back after exploring. Highly recommended; it really made for a wonderful trip; you will not be disappointed.…
This is a great spot to explore Venice. Stayed for 3 nights in a July. Had a basic room which looked over the side alleyway. Room was quite small and for the price it could do with some small additions, such as better toiletries, complimentary bottled water (at least!) and tea/coffee machine would be great. Check in was easy and staff very friendly. We didn’t try the breakfast which was an additional €15 a day per pers. From what I saw it seemed a bit much for what was being offered. Location is great. Just a short walk from St Marks Square and the Rialto bridge. We took the ferry boat from the airport to Venice. We were planning on going to San Zaccaria as it suggested it was closest to the hotel. We instead got off at Ospedale which is only a 10 minute walk as the airport ferry takes a life time. It was an easy walk and away from the crowds. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Venice.…
Unique experience in Veneza. My familly spent a very good times at Casa Verardo Hotel Residence. The Staff is so kindly and pay attention every time. The breakfast is charmosíssimo . They receive the Brasiliense very gentilmente
We had a perfect stay from beginning to end. Roberta arranged for a last-minute water taxi from the airport. She even personally greeted us at the water taxi station! Her email and phone communication was excellent! Pierre, the owner graciously met us the next morning at breakfast. It is obvious he is very hands-on and attends to every detail of the hotel. It is a perfect location near Saint Marks but off the craziness of the tourist location. The breakfast was delicious every morning. Alessandro served us every morning and was wonderful!! The room was perfect. There were three of us and we had a king size bed and a single as well. The AC worked perfectly on very hot summer days. The towels were thick comfortable beds, and a nice touch with robes & slippers for the three of us! We also love the little bar area off the reception desk. It was a great place to cool off & relax. I truly was sad to leave, but will look forward to staying there again when I come back to Venice!!!…
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa Verardo and will definitely stay there when we visit Venice next. There are lots of very good to excellent restaurants nearby and you can walk almost anywhere. Getting to the hotel from the train station, via vaporetto, was not a problem. The staff are all very nice and made us feel welcome. Take advantage of the bar and order drinks and enjoy them on the lower level patio / courtyard. Only slight negative is our room was a bit tight/small. Maybe it would be better to take out the chaise lounge. Also a walk in shower is preferred by us. Thanks to all the staff - great hotel!
We spent 2 nights here and loved it! I specifically asked our travel agent to find us smaller, boutique type hotels and this was magnificent! The location was fabulous. Close to St. Mark's square but on a quiet, picturesque side canal. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff quite friendly. They made dining recommendations for us that turned out to be fabulous!
Hotel Casa Verardo is a stunning hotel full of history and charm, the location is as central and convenient as it gets, and most importantly, Pier and the entire team at CV welcomed us in the most warm and hospitable way! It felt like a family experience from the beginning, and they were all genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible - Venetian hospitality at its finest! I will always plan to stay at Hotel Casa Verardo when visiting Venice, and would recommend highly to anyone looking to visit this magnificent city - your stay at CV will only amplify your overall experience there. Thank you Pier and the entire CV family for a wonderful stay!
Wow, what an amazing stay at Hotel Casa Verardo! We received the warmest and friendliest welcome from the moment we stepped off the boat to our last moments the morning we departed. Pier and the entire team made our stay enjoyable and unforgettable. This will be my stay of choice whenever I am Venice, and because of their thoughtful hospitality, I hope to return again soon.
