Hotel is in a fantastic location, just behind the Doges Palace and St Marks Square. Its a wonderful feeling when all around you are hot, tired day trippers and you can pop back to the hotel ,have a rest, take a shower and come out...More
small room, but had all one needed. Internet was very expensive (9 euro per hour) and breakfast, barely ok..
It was clean, but the beds were hard as a rock, good thing we wore ourselves battling the Venitian crowds.
this hotel doesnt look much on the outside but on the inside is lovely. nice sized rooms, modern bathroom with power shower, walk in wardrobe, flat screen tv, friendly staff and most of all the most fantastic location. please ignore any bad reviews made because...More
This hotel was in a good location and easy to find. I can imaging many of the other hotels in Venice would be hard as it is easy to get lost down all the streets. This hotel was only a short walk from the docks....More
This hotel has a great, easy location and is a great value. If your travel group includes people who can't do too much walking, you should consider this hotel. ( There is an elevator.) The hotel is comfortable. The rooms are decent sized, clean and...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

this is a Hotel with rooms only. transport direct to the airport is very easy on the waterbus which is literally one minute from the hotel. i would say its by far the easier route as the train station is the other end of the island and you would need to get a water bus there anyway.

Good morning, we regret but is not possible for us to arrange a transfer but if you wish we can help you booking a private water taxi even if the public transportation is really confortable and not far from the hotel. Just note that a private taxi is more expensive than the public boat Alilaguna.
Always at your disposal

We took the Alilaguna at a cost of €15 each, yes a ten minute walk but well signposted, flat and easy to do. Buy ticket when you enter baggage hall. We boarded within minutes of arriving and the journey took one hour thirty five minutes and we really enjoyed it. Once at San Zaccaria cross the bridge to the left, more of a ramp than a bridge, then first right, hotel on the left. Have a fabulous holiday.
