This is a small hotel just steps away from San Marco Square, making it a great location. My room was small but comfortable, and a very nice bathroom. The air conditioning was wonderful. Breakfast is included and featured freshly baked croissants amongst the other offerings....More
The hotel has nothing to do with a 3 star. Very dusty, pieces of biscuit under the bed (not cleaned), very small rooms, unchanged bed sheet and dirty minibar.
For the breakfast, not many choices for a self. Very fat pastries, very bad orange juice...More
We stayed here for 3 nights in March. The location was great, off one of the side streets of St.Marks square.
The hotel was clean but could smell smoke drifting in from other rooms.
Room was ample size, no tea or coffee making facilities, was...More
This hotel is really convenient based on location and price. We got there around 1 am and the city was empty but very easy to find , do not ask question to locals around where the hotel is located ,they are not friendly , turn on...More
If you are a looking for a small, quiet hotel near San Marco, this is a good place. It was literally a few steps from San Marco, so it gave very easy access. The rooms are VERY SMALL, but I think that is pretty typical...More
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

From the Santa Lucia train station
Outside the station, you will find right in front of you the ACTV public waterbus stop Take line no 2. The waterbuses leave every 10 minutes, taking you along the Grand Canal to St. Mark's Square. Once you reach the Square, with the Basilica behind you, walk down the arcade on the right-hand side of the Square. After the Caffè Quadri turn into the second street on your right (Sottoportego Cavalletto) up to Campo San Gallo and our Hotel.

This was a massive issue for me too - but honestly it was SO easy! There is a bus literally right outside treviso airport called AVTO (or something can’t quite remember - google busses to Venice and you’ll find it!). It takes you to the water taxi and then you just get on one and wait until you get to San Marco - ask anyone for help if you need it everyone is so helpful! Then google maps on your phone for the 2 minute walk to the hotel x
